The OMNI Board of Tourism is a public art project that will house the most upto-date tourist map with listings and guides for Miami's up and coming OMNI Neighborhood. This December 4th we will be launching our website, THEOMNIBOT.com along with our Biscayne Boulevard Display case windows located in the historic Gold Coast Pharmacy building. TheOMNIBOT.com will maintain the OMNI area's most current and detailed listings of restaurants and places of interest. Aside from the easy to follow map, the website will also feature some fun Miami Do's and Dont's and an online gift shop full of limited edition art works with an eye towards tourism, and unique Miami memorabilia. We are also excited to premier our first, Outside OMNI destination guide and we're excited to start this series with, The City of Detroit! In attempts to further welcome our destination recommendation of Detroit this year, The Board has organized a special event highlighting the artistic achievements of notable Detroit and Miami based artists. The resulting exhibition, titled "Studio Visit", will include work by Detroit natives Kristin Beaver, Samuel Consiglio, and Nicola Kuperus. This talented group will exhibit their work within the actual studio space of Miami artists Hernan Bas, Jiae Hwang and Natalya Laskis at 2014 NW Miami Court. The space will be transformed into a traditional gallery for viewing art with the addition of a full-blown Omni Board of Tourism official tourist shop! All of our online gifts and guides will be available for sale and each of the artists in the show will be making inexpensive limited edition designs for the shop.
