ABOUT THE POOL ART FAIR
The show focuses largely on challenging and innovative artists that do not have representation in art galleries. The fair's ambition is to create a meeting ground for artists, art dealers, curators, and buyers. It is an exceptional opportunity for curators and gallery owners to hand pick un-discovered talents. 

PooL is the successor to the acclaimed New York Independent Art Fair (November 2000), a groundbreaking exhibition that attracted thousands of US and international visitors. The simple, modest approach of the PooL Art Fair offers an exciting alternative to the "art fair" experience for dealers and collectors, as well as the general public.

INDEPENDENT ARTISTS
Frere Independent is proud to present the unique ARTIST'S FAIR IN MAIMI BEACH. This year's edition, entitled FULL HOUSE, offers visitors an entire hotel full of talented international artists. These artists have no gallery representation in Miami during the Fair. With the recent multiplication of art fairs in Miami, one often finds the same work at different concurrent fairs. You will not find the work of the artists show cased at the PooL Art Fair anywhere else in Miami at that time. Collectors can discover new artists and acquire the work before they get gallery representation. Gallery owners and art dealers get an exceptional opportunity to make 60+ studio visits at once and meet artists that are open to working with a gallery. 

INSTITUTIONS
Institutions such as not-for-profit organizations, international art funds and cultural services of foreign government are welcome to exhibit artists they support and wish to introduce to the US market. 

YOUNG ART DEALERS, CURATORS AND AGENTS
A growing number of artists' agents do not find their place in conventional art fairs. This is for a variety of reasons; participation fees are often too high, the esthetic of work presented by the fair is not in line with the vision of the curator or the project presented is not suitable for a regular art fair. These groups are welcome to apply to the PooL Art Fair as well. Special rates apply.

OUR VENUE
The Cavalier Hotel has a tradition of hosting art shows concurrently with the Art Basel Miami Beach since the beginning. PooL is returning to this venue for the 3rd time in a row. It is conveniently located a walking distance from the convention center with about 10 other art fairs in the neighborhood as well. Yet, our venue is on Ocean Drive. This unique location sets us apart and makes pool visitors and exhibitors feel and look special. Lastly, the hotel faces the ocean. 


ADMISSION
Admission to the fair is $10.00 suggested donation to our not-for-profit organization.
Tickets Include: Admission to the show, Admission to the lounge, 2 Complimentary drinks.


PooL is produced by Frere Independent, a non-profit arts organization based in NYC.
