Keep an eye for a new fun and exciting movie coming to DVD. Actress Tangi Miller has lived in the hearts of many since she first appeared on the television screen as Elena Tyler, who was one of the main characters in the WB hit Felicity. Since then, she had appeared in various films and even starting writing and producing some of her own material. One of her films includes the independent hit Love and Other 4 Letter Words which has appeared on Black Star Cinema on the BETNetwork. As a result, Tangi continues to push the envelope to create some very entertaining and memorable characters.
Recently, she has done it again with her newest and soon to be released film entitled “My Girlfriend's Back.” The story is an intelligent romantic comedy starring Tangi Miller and actor Malik Yoba. Malik Yoba is probably best known for playing the sexy, hip cop in highly rated television show New York Undercover. Most recently, he has starred in the Tyler Perry films “Why Did I Get Married and Why Did I Get Married 2?”
Within the film, Malik’s character Derek Scott is an upwardly mobile man who has always made the right choices and become a success in many ways. His career is on target and he is dating a woman who seems to fit right in with his plans for the future. His life seems to be on track until his ex-girlfriend played by Tangi Miller comes back into the picture. As a result, Derek begins to question his life and many of the decisions he has made up until now.
My Girlfriend's Back also includes a host of other well known actors appearing in the film. They are: CCHPounder, Obba Babatunde, Doug Williams, and Juanita Jennings.
