Erika Hansford’s 2011 Listening Party

Although this exclusive party is not actually happening in New York City, in just a little while you will be hearing about Erika Hansford performing in New York, London, Washington, DC and many other major cities around the world.  On March 26, 2011, which is also her birthday, she will be giving the world a sample of what is to come in 2011 and beyond at her Listening Party in Columbia, Maryland.  The event is being held at Kahler Hall 5440 Tucker Row, Columbia, Maryland 21044 at 8:00 PM.     

Originally from New Jersey and moving to Maryland at age 3, Erika Hansford has been singing for as long as she can remember.  Her soulful voice has a signature sound that will leave a crowd wanting for more.  In the past she has had the opportunity to be a member of her high school hand performing at various locations around the city.  In addition, she has frequently sung at family weddings and funerals. Music has always been a part of her life in some form and she has admired many of the most successful women singers such as:  Anita Baker, Teena Marie, Kim Burrell, Whitney Houston, and Mary J. Blige.

Some of Erika Hansford’s future goals are as follow: 

She wishes to secure longevity with her career in music as a singer/songwriter while performing all across the world.  She also plans to work with different charities to inspire the youth of today with confidence and motivation teaching them to have a positive attitude and a desire to give back and spread the love.  If Erika continues on the road she has begun, we are definitely in store for event more in the years to come.
