If you still haven't gotten around to checking out the awesome that is Portal, then you might want to get on that considering Valve has finally gotten around to announcing a release date for the game's sequel. Portal 2 will be hitting store shelves just in time to ruin Valentine's Day for some the world over on February 9, 2011.
Pushed back from a tentative 2010 release date because if there is nothing Valve enjoys more - it's sticking gamer's with a delay. But, in all fairness, when Valve does make us all wait, it's usually for a pretty good reason and the end results are yet to be disappointing so far.
So, if you haven't gone and soiled yourself in excitement yet, good for you. If you have, don't worry about it - there's a portal for that.

Already have mine on reserve, and almost completely payed for. If they need more time to make the game that much better, go for it. Take all the time you need, Valve!
