Security tapes of the Oklahoma City bombing just released had key sections erased. Salt Lake City attorney Jesse Trentadue obtained the security camera tapes of the bombing through the Freedom of Information Act. After many years of secrecy around these critical tapes, the missing portions only fuel conspiracy fires.
Shortly after 9 AM on April 19, 1995, bombs in Oklahoma City's Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building killed 168 people and injured hundreds more, rocking the entire nation and world. Initially blamed on Muslim terrorists, the official investigation eventually led to the conviction of Timothy McVeigh, who was executed in 2001, and co-conspirator Terry Nichols, who is serving life in prison.
An Associated Press (AP) article today provided details:
"The real story is what's missing," said Jesse Trentadue, a Salt Lake City attorney who obtained the recordings. "Four cameras in four different locations going blank at basically the same time on the morning of April 19, 1995. There ain't no such thing as a coincidence," Trentadue said."The interesting thing is they spring back on after 9:02," he said. "The absence of footage from these crucial time intervals is evidence that there is something there that the FBI doesn't want anybody to see." The FBI in the past refused to release the security camera recordings, leading Trentadue and others to contend the government was hiding evidence that others were involved in the attack. "It's taken a lawsuit and years to get the tapes," Trentadue said.
Trentadue's brother Kenneth died in the Oklahoma City bombing, possibly murdered by officials who mistook him for the bomber. As stated in the AP article, "A judge in 2001 awarded Kenneth Trentadue's family $1.1 million for extreme emotional distress in the government's handling of his death." This lead the deceased's brother Jesse to search deeper into the bombing, where he came up with lots more evidence that did not match the official story. The tapes are but a chapter in this intriguing saga.
The official story of the bombing has been challenged by other key individuals and groups. A 2006 AP article states: "A two-year congressional inquiry into the Oklahoma City bombing concludes that the FBI didn't fully investigate whether other suspects may have helped Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols with the deadly 1995 attack, allowing questions to linger a decade later."
And according to a 2007 BBC News article, "The FBI man in charge of collecting evidence from the government building destroyed by the Oklahoma bomb has called for the case to be reopened. Former deputy assistant director Danny Coulson ... said a federal grand jury is now needed to find out what really happened."
The official story has McVeigh blowing up a truck full of fertilizer in front of the building. Yet live TV footage from local news stations show without doubt that several bombs were planted in the building. Strangely, the official story completely fails to mention this. This perplexing TV footage from the day of the bombing begins at 1:10 in the revealing five-minute video below.
How then, could the official story say the only bomb was from McViegh's truck. There are many more puzzling questions to this mystery. These tapes are NOT public property. Their content is not public domain and should NOT be released. The tapes and their content still belong to the businesses that they were obtained from and should be returned to them unaltered at the conclusion of the investigation.

Great reporting, Fred. Yes, this piece is among many that show our government is lying to us and therefore complicit in the murder of 168 people. This is conservative legal application of being an accomplice after the fact by covering-up evidence that a reasonable person would conclude point to criminal acts.
I lived only 2 blocks from the Murrah building the day that horrendous event happened. There were things that i and others witnessed that we don't dare talk about. I have many questions myself regarding the giant cover-up.

Excellent article. I didn't know about the security tapes and additional bombs issues. Looking forward to updates when more is discovered. I was living in Wichita 1995, moved to Norman 2008. Perhaps the erased time on tapes would show a different unrelated lead news story that morning if not for the bombing? Was something else going on that morning, which involved that location? But if directly related to the bombing, surely the erased time on security tapes showed delivery of additional bombs and by whom. Only possible reasons I can think of for such a cover-up is if it was one of their own who showed up on the tapes, or someone from an allied country who participated in the betrayal and attack. Otherwise they would want us to know the complete truth.

Mid-1993 when I was a motel manager in Wichita, I overheard conversation between two guests planning to burglarize a certain large beauty salon for 3rd time. I told a Drug Interdiction Unit detective. Burglars got caught in the act. They were taking chemicals from the large supply room there. A WPD uniformed officer told the burglars who snitched on them. Next day, a girlfriend of one came to the motel, pointed a gun in my face and threatened to kill me if I were to interfere with her business again. I told the DIU detective about the assault, who then found and talked to the young woman. I was then asked to not press charges against her for assault because doing so could interfere with a more important separate investigation. I wondered why someone would burglarize a beauty salon, for what possible value, and to do so 3 times. Mystery solved as result of recent news about terrorist Zazi getting chemicals from the Beauty Supply Warehouse in Aurora CO that can be used to make bombs.
You wouldn't believe the rumors around here about the bombing. I myself saw another truck pulled over behind Timothy's car when he got stopped, on the news.
But, it was only on 1 time and then never again. After that, the news clip only showed Timothy's car pulled over.

In 1983, Richard Shell was arrested while planning to bomb the Murrah Fed. Building.
He had been recruited by an FBI agent. Snell was convicted of unrelated murders and executed on April 19, 1995, the day of the OK. City bombing.
On May 14, 1987, operation MISTY PICTURE was conducted, the fourth in the series of MISTY CASTLE tests. The tests involved detonating a mixture of Ammonium Nitrate and Fuel Oil (ANFO) “to simulate the explosion of a small nuclear bomb“.
On April 19, 1995, the Murrah Fed. Building was destroyed by a mixture of Ammonium Nitrate and Fuel Oil (ANFO)
In a 2007 affidavit, Terry Nichols claimed that:
A) In 1992, McVeigh told him that he had been recruited for undercover missions before leaving the military.
B) In 1995, McVeigh told him that FBI official Larry Potts (supervisor of the Ruby Ridge and Waco operations) had directed him to blow up a government building.
Before McVeigh’s execution in 2001, witnesses said that he was calm and in amazingly good spirits.
After McVeigh was given the lethal injection, he looked up at the video camera and smiled, then closed his eyes.
Susan Carlson, a reporter for WLS-AM Radio, stated that McVeigh “appeared to still be breathing, even after he was pronounced dead”
Immediately after the execution, McVeigh's body was placed in a government van and driven away.
No postmortem autopsy or examination was performed.
