UFO Cover-up? Astronauts, admirals, generals speak out

Hundreds of government and military officials have gone public in discussing a UFO cover-up, some claiming to have been personally involved.
An intriguing article posted to examiner.com yesterday presented the text and video of a recent C-SPAN interview with astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon. Aldrin raised eyebrows by suggesting possible UFO involvement with a monolith on a moon of Mars.
An additional recent article in the San Francisco Chronicle quotes Aldrin, "There's a monolith on Phobos. It's about 15 meters high. And aliens put it there before they came to Egypt to build the pyramids." The article suggests he was only joking, yet was he?
Mercury and Gemini astronaut Gordon Cooper has gone on record describing a personal UFO experience, "A saucer flew right over, put down three landing gears, and landed on the dry lakebed. [The cameramen] went out there with their cameras towards the UFO. It lifted off and flew off at a very high rate of speed... I had a chance to hold [the film] up to the window. Good close-up shots. There was no doubt that it was made someplace other than on this earth."
Roscoe Hillenkoetter, an admiral and former chief of the CIA stated in a 1960 article in the New York Times, "It is time for the truth to be brought out in open Congressional hearings. Behind the scenes, high-ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense. To hide the facts, the Air Force has silenced its personnel."
Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon, has stated, "Yes, there have been ET visitations. There have been crashed craft. There have been material and bodies recovered. There has been a certain amount of reverse engineering that has allowed some of these craft, or some components, to be duplicated. People in high level government have very little, if any, valid information about this. It has been the subject of disinformation in order to deflect attention and create confusion so the truth doesn’t come out."
General Vasily Alexeyev of Russia's Space Communications Center has publicly commented, "[The Air Force] came up with a table with pictures of all the shapes of UFOs that had ever been recorded – about fifty – ranging from ellipses and spheres to something resembling spaceships... The study of UFOs may reveal some new forms of energy, or at least bring us closer to a solution."
These are only a few of many well-known individuals who have spoken out on aliens and UFOs. Others include a former minister of defense from the U.K., a former minister of defense from Canada, and the former chief of accidents and investigations at the FAA. Could all of these officials be lying or deluded? Even if it were just one or two high-level individuals making these claims, it would be worth investigating. Yet literally hundreds of these people have been publicly videotaped or interviewed by the major media making astonishing claims about a UFO cover-up.
This raises serious questions. If these respected government officials are lying, why? What purpose would it serve to open themselves to ridicule with UFO claims? If it is a conspiracy to get us to believe in UFOs, what's the purpose of that? And if they are deluded, we may have a serious mass delusion spreading in government that needs to be addressed.
The more likely conclusion is that there is at least some truth to what these officials are claiming. The above witness testimony and further evidence collected on UFOs by many serious researchers suggest that we are not alone in the universe. In fact, there may be UFOs and ETs near our planet who are monitoring the development of humankind. The article about Buzz Aldrin VERY clearly states that he was joking. You know there are enough real quotes from Astronauts, pilots, and military personnel that there is no reason to mislead people like that.
Tonya, I invite you to check out yesterday's article (the first link at the top), and watch the video of Aldrin on C-SPAN. He most certainly was not joking there when he talked about the monolith and the possibility that someone put it there. You take care.

Well said, Fred. The testimony from over 400 expert witnesses validating the existence of ETs is documented at the Disclosure Project's website, with some highlights in the movie Out of the Blue and UFO: the Greatest Story Ever Denied. The film evidence from NASA's own cameras in these two movies is compelling. We need disclosure, that is, full investigation of the expert testimony to show us what's really happening. Tonya is correct that we have abundant evidence to demand disclosure, especially with much of the testimony claiming we have "free energy" devices of several types that are fully developed for humanity's use. BTW, in every historical instance, when poverty ends (and it would with free energy), population growth has always declined.
I'm of a mind that UFOs are real but they are angels, good or bad, but I think bad. Preparing us for a delusion of a savior to right all the crap going on. Then turn against us. This may or may not sound familiar, but it is in the Bible.
It's nice that people are discussing the matter but I'd have to disagree about the best UFO documentary. It's clearly the one we made, The Silent Revolution of Truth, since it's the only one that not only shows the clearest UFO photos, films, video ever taken of PROVEN to be of ET craft but also the man who's maintained proven contact with the ETs...for the past 67 years. And while we've dismantled every challenge by the top skeptics, the focus is really on the REASON for the ongoing contact, which isn't to dazzle us with lights in the sky but rather to help us assure our future survival. And this is accomplished (hopefully) by our actually researching the thousands of pages of specific, prophetically accurate information contained in the case.
I've seen all but the first mentioned documentary and I will watch that soon. While I do my best to spread this in all possible directions (not many people are open to these subjects) I do notice more different kinds of people open up to ideas and suggestions and researching for themselfs and figuring out what is true and what not. But with all testimonies, videos, pictures and eye-witness reports and government disclosures no big changes have affected the people of earth. We're still heading in the same direction. We have no goals as a race, no global representative, we're just children playing with heavy toys thinking we know it all already. Sincerely I believe that any alien looking at earth with it's humans is nothing you want to have close. Not for a while anyway because we're still destructive in almost every way. Yes, I know there's loads of people who are not like that. Majority still counts in this world. Change that and everyone wins.

The public will find out about aliens when the aliens decide to make themselves knows. The media is part of the coverup and if you don't already know, if it doesn't get reported seriously in the news, it never happened.
There's much to CIA's involvement and control over the media. CIA waterboarding? It's ok. Torturing people? No problem. Lying to Congress? Have a nice day. Cover up the existence of aliens on Earth? Your budget has been increased.
The social, economic and religious impact of Disclosure could be severe. That is a big reason why the truth has not, nor will be Disclosed publicly.
When will the aliens want humans to discover their existence? That is the only way we will find out.

Every Saturday, when the weather is good, I GO TO Manhattan (Columbus Circle & Time Warner Center) to show people AFOs (Aliens Flying Object) in the night sky after sunset. Hundreds of people saw AFOs the way I described them in my article. Be one of them.
In the video Buzz does not seem like he is joking, in fact, he looks as if he dropped the ball and divulged a little to much information.
Imagine, if you will, this number of quality expert witnesses coming forward to disclose something a little closer to the gound. What if they were whistle blowers regarding pork barrel spending or healthcare fraud or even outing someone who was selling secrets to the Chinese? The media would be on it like flies on a dog pile. But UFOs? No, they (and we) are just too well trained to ignore and ridicule anyone... and I do mean ANYONE, who dares approach this verboten subject.
Some articles have referred to the media today as a tool of official indoctrination and to the masses as mindless 'sheeple'.
I think they may be right.
The next nearest star to Earth's sun (Alpha Centauri) is about 4 light-years away. That might sound close, but it is actually something like 24 trillion miles away. Even traveling at one million miles an hour, it would take more than 2,500 years to get there. To get there in twenty-five years would require traveling at more than 100 million miles an hour for the entire trip.* Our fastest spacecraft, Voyager, travels at about 40,000 miles an hour and would take 70,000 years to get to Alpha Centauri.

We should always be careful not to let unfounded assumptions steer our thoughts on any question, paranormal or otherwise.
Are we really justified in assuming that these phenomena are extraterrestrial? As researchers like Jacques Vallée have pointed out, people have been seeing and experiencing these things right here on this little rock ball for an awfully long time, They might not be extraterrestrial at all. They might be extradimensional, or some kind of unknown natural process, or manifestations of human consciousness, or something else we can't yet puzzle out -- who knows? We CAN'T know, until we manage to run one through a spectrometer or put it under a microscope or something.
Wimmsie: is is REALLY true that there is "no physical evidence whatsoever"? Or do you really mean that you haven't looked into it much, so aren't personally aware of any, and therefore have leapt to the unfounded assumption that there is none to be had?
Hmm, just because so called reliable people claim that UFO's and aliens are visiting Earth does not make it so. People really are unreliable, fabricators of unreality. I wonder how many of these UFO eyewitnesses/believers have a religious upbringing or a belief in the existence of Jesus Christ or his Father/Himself Yahweh? Any intelligent person (if there is such a thing) knows Jesus and Yahweh are just fictional characters in a book, just the same as Zeus and Heracles, Odin and Thor (Jack Kirby rocks!) and yet for thousands of years throughout human history people saw and interacted with their Gods, the Egyptians, the Sumerians probably all Earths human cultures did. We know now that these beings were just fictions and still are. UFO's are fiction, aliens fiction, monoliths on Phobos a fiction, conspiracies fiction. These ficitons are not even that inspired, these so called UFO's boring, these alien abductions banal.

Of course not. We know that if a pilot says he/she saw something in the air that did not match anything he/she had been trained to recognize, it doesn't mean he/she isn't lying. If a police officer says that he/she saw the same thing, it doesn't mean that he/she wasn't just after a few moments of attention. There's no excuse for reporting a UFO. None at all.
But what we DO know is that if Britney Spears fails to seat belt her kids, or if the pretty redhead doesn't get a rose on The Bachelor, there's something seriously amiss and we should be paying attention.
We are too trained to think anymore.
It's rather amusing to see, how people chase grey shadows in the black night. Hard undeniable fact is, if ETs visited earth, there would be so many implications (most people are simply too stupid to understand) the only appropriate mean to not turn our civilisation upside down is to keep these things away from the general public, until humanity in its wholeness will have become mature enough to handle the truth. In the most optimistic case, completion of the ongoing disclosure process will take us a couple of centuries. So people should trust their govts. Since they have the oversight, they know exactly what is good for their residents.
Any attempt to force a sudden disclosure will fail.
Shol'va, it's worse than you think. The implications of extraterrestrials visiting Earth today is so significant that the military and industrial complex won't even tell our Governments.
Just an example. Bill Clinton was denied access. Most Presidents since Eisenhower have been denied access to the truth regarding extraterrestrials. Cheney and Bush Sr knew because Bush Sr was former Director of the CIA. These 2 men are the exception.

AJ, sadly many have been disappeared who came out with key information. William Cooper is an example of an insider who came out and died under mysterious circumstances in the prime of his life. Those behind such things, however, rarely off anyone who is too well known, as it could bring more attention to the issue. Let's hope that all of this becomes public knowledge before too long.
