Thursday, Shirley Sherrod said that she would welcome a call from Obama about her USDA job that she was asked to resign from, and Thursday she received a personal phone call from the President. Sherrod said that the only person she holds a grudge against is Andrew Breitbart, the man who posted the three-minute clip of her March NAACP speech.
Sherrod said that the one person she would like to get back at would be Andrew Breitbart, who posted the three minute NAACP clip, which resulted in the loss of her job. The longer version of Sherrod’s speech included a different story than what Breitbart told in his three minute video clip. Wednesday, the USDA apologized and offered Sherrod her job back. Breitbart is a writer who has his own blog and runs several websites.
Breitbart "knew what effect that would have on conservative racist people he's dealing with," Sherrod said. "That's why I started getting the hate mail, and that's why I got the hate calls. He got the effect he was looking for."
Breitbart has stated that this was never about Sherrod, but the NAACP. Sherrod disagrees. See her interview with CNN below.
Thursday, Sherrod spent most of the day in interviews with the media, from Good Morning America to the View, to CNN and hasn’t had much time to review the job offer with the USDA after being asked to resign.
Thursday morning, Sherrod appeared on Good Morning America and expressed doubts about how she was asked to resign from her job and why, and the new job she has been offered with the USDA. She also said that she would love to speak to the President about the situation. Sherrod accepted the apology, but expressed concerns that she may not be treated the same way if she returned to work. She also said that she wants to be sure that the USDA is committed to stopping racism.

I would love to meet breitbart in a dark alley sometime!!
I watched the original video. How exactly did it exonerate her?
She's still a racist, her comments prove that. And Breitbart had nothing to do with it. He just posted what he received. Unlike the liberals with Rather that just made up the news.
Someone accuses you of wrong; you're innocent :: So the accuser must be guilty -- & the guilty must be prosecuted.
And the fact that the accuser created the evidence to accuse you with, make him doubly culpable.
Distractions aside, this is, at its core, a case of a racist, with a racist agenda, getting caught again (3rd time)-- & still not being held to account. In much the same way that none of those that caused the Dept of Ag to pay millions for the actual crime haven't lost their jobs 20yrs (much less 20 mins) later.
