Caylee Anthony
According to page 14 of the 36 pages of the Caylee Anthony autopsy report, Caylee’s skull was found with duct tape covering her mouth and nose. The duct tape covered from her chin to her nose. Her hair was still matted to the skull, and the report states that it was the duct tape that kept her skull intact. The autopsy also states that the duct tape was placed on Caylee’s mouth and nose before decomposition set in.
The autopsy report also shows that due to the presence of roots growing through the black bag and bone fragments, Caylee’s body was placed in the woods before decomposition set in. Experts state that she had been in the woods for at least four months, long enough for the longest roots and vegetation that were recovered to grow. This rules out the theory that the grounds had been previously searched and photographed without a body present, and that the body was moved to the location near the time of discover, Dec. 11, 2009.
This fact also agrees with the statements made by Roy Kronk, that he had notified police regarding a suspicious bag months earlier.
Experts believe that if the duct tape hadn’t been placed on Caylee’s mandible, her skull would have deteriorated and fragmented, as did the rest of her skeleton. Her remains were found scattered throughout the area, dispersed by animals as well as rising and falling Florida water levels.
Casey Anthony, Caylee’s mother has been charged with the murder of her daughter and prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. Her trial is to begin tentatively on October 12, 2009, but this is expected to change as new defense attorneys have been brought in and time is needed to prepare for the trial.

To clear up any confusion I will add this photo. On page 14 of the autopsy report, in the third paragraph, it states, "grayish colored tape was noted covering the mouth and nasal aperture areas." In this picture of a skull, you can clearly see the nasal aperture areas. The duct tape was placed from the lower chin- mandible, and covered the mouth and nasal aperture areas- Caylee's nose.

That is awful. All the evidence points to the mother committing the crime. I pray that the truth would be revealed. How could you do something like this to an innocent child? That's awful. She was beautiful. She is in heaven.
For some one to murder an innocent child. A beautiful little girl with so much she could have accomplished in her life, saddens me. I look at my children every day the love and the joy the give me, could never be replaced.... I hope one day the truth of her final hours will finally be revieled. You did it Casey we are all sick of it and you are making your poor mother and father dance around and play your game. They know their granddaughter is dead and now they are dancing to your tune trying to play your game a little in hopes of helping you a little and looking as crazy as you do. For God sakes save them the misery....and the shame.

I read the autopsy report. Nothing in it says Casey killed her daughter. As far as I'm concerned, George or Cindy could have done it by accident. Remember, the cadaver dogs hit on the Anthonys' back yard FIRST, indicating the body was there before it was moved to the woods a few days later. George and Cindy know what happened to Caylee. No question about it.

To "Tea", who thinks Cindy and George might have done this accidentally, obviously obviously you haven't listened to all the audio or watched the video tapes. It was Cindy who reported her missing, after one month of Casey telling lies about where Caylee was. They Do know their daughter was responsible though, and I find it sickening that they aren't seeking justice for their granddaughter. Instead, they have said "no matter what" they will stand by Casey. What about this precious 3 year old child?? Shame on them for not telling the entire truth, and trying to place blame on anyone but their daughter, who is clearly responsible.
I feel casey was mad and wanted to go out and maybe tied caylee up and put duct tape over her mouth and possible put her in her play house while everyone was asleep and when out. when casey went back to get her later she was dead, suffacated by the duct tape. she then put caylee in the trunk of her car until she later disposed of her in the woods. That would explain why the dogs hit at that spot. my opion.
It's very possible because maybe Casey forgot about Caylee after a party.Meanwhile Caylee was rotting in
the playhouse so Casey knew she must get Cayllee out far from home.

I have read Caylee Anthony's autopsy report for the first time. It only confirms what I have already told many on many boards long ago. I'm not about to start up another kick me campaign for doubters, I'm saving it for my book. I will however say that I believe the time of Caylee's death was July the 26th; shortly after 11:30 P.M. This confirms the 4 month period as well. The tape would also confirm the reasoning to stop her blood curdling screams in her last attempt to be rescued. But like the sheriff, don't take me serious. This person will continual in his sickness. I believe Casey is innocent! INHO... I believe she could have got caught up in a drug issue and owed money, so they took Caylee. Allowing her pride to dig her in deeper and deeper. Then, when Caylee became a hot item, they passed her to others I suspect in the area where I first saw her for there fist and last time.

...so awful to say.. but.. casey could have put the duct tape on her... (so there would be no screaming......let her drown in the pool. she then tried to make that shallow grave in the yard..(george admitted there was suspicious digging in the yard...and thats why the dogs hit there).. she couldnt dig deep enough... and thats why the body was in the car until she could figure out what to do with it.. when the smell became unbearable, thats when poor caylee was put in the woods...and the car left near the amscot.. (thats why there was plastic garbage bags consistent with those of the anthony household, and the laundry bag, the winnie the pooh blanket, the duct tape and sticker... it happened at home...
Newsette...that doesn't make any sense. Didn't Cindy call 911 on July 15th? She was most likely dead a month before that...
Charisse, where in the autopsy report does it say that the tape was placed over the mouth and nose as you reported in your article? I have read it several times and it says lower part only. Please explain. Tks.

Poor little Caylee did not have a chance with a selfish Mother like Casey. I hope I am still around to see her fry. Her Mom, Dad and brother are all in denial. All they have to do is tell the truth and get the smirks off Casey's face every time she is in court. She really thinks she is going to get away with this. If she does, hopefully, someone will waste her as she walks out the door.

i read the autopsy report,have watched it being antlized on tv shows, i'm not a forensic expert,so all of the forensics is actually confusing to me..so as far as i am concerned is 2 things.1-the 17 hairs that dr lee found when he went thru the car..did any of them belong to anyone other then a anthony..2-was there any dna or fingerprints belonging to anyone other then a anthony..thats the ? i have on forensics..the other things i need explained by defense is 1-why 31 days 2-why look in lounges and swing on poles 3-why get a tattoo that means beautiful life after she went missing.4-why the shoppin spree with stolen checks...and last but the most important 5-what made her think for a moment that the supposed nanny would not hurt caylee so much that she felt she had time to party and all no fear for her daughter..as for her family they all adults and can defend themselves..casey and bias really need to figure out reasonable and belivable answers to these ? and forget all the other garbage

How could Caylee have drowned in the pool? If they found gases in the trunk from a person suffocating (I've never heard of that before, so I'm going to check that out), Caylee had to have suffocated in the trunk, not in the pool.
casey chloroformed her daughter to put her to sleep and then she ducked taped her mouth and nose. in chloroforming her there was no struggle.
I am a grandmother of 6 grandchildren ranging from 14 years old to 1 years old. If something like this were to ever happen to my grandchildren I would go absolutely crazy. If my daughters or son in laws were involved in any way, I would want them to be punished for what they had done. What is wrong with you Cindy and George? Have you lost your minds? You are not good grandparents! Good grandparents would feel such pain at the loss of their grand daughter. They should never even look at their daughter again! They know what happened. I would bet my life on it! Fess up ! Do it for Caylee. She is watching all of you. All of you who say you love her so. Give me a break! Do the right thing! Tell what you know! And all of you do know! Dee, If Caylee died ONLY from suffocation by the duct tape placed over her mouth and nose, then how would you explain the computer search on chloroform on the Anthony computer? Casey murdered Caylee...that's plain as day!!
I feel so sorry for the grandparents! I think they are in total shock. I mean, how would you feel if you had this precious little life in your lives that was totally taken from you, then the person who you have raised and given all of your love to all of these years appears to be the one to have given the child her fate. I think it's just too much for them to take in. I think maybe the mother has accepted it but doesn't want to say for the sake of her marriage. It seems as if they have a very strong family bondage and that is what is keeping the silence...They don't want the walls to come tumbling down. I think Caseey is very selfish and only thinks of herself. There is a special place in hell for her.......

I believe Casey was alone with Caylee and became angry with her.Casey took Caylee to her bedroom,duct taped her so the neighbors woudn't hear screaming and probably shot her up and broke her neck.First she put the little body in the playhouse but decided to put it in the trunk because she wasn't sure what to do with it.When the body decayed more,she threw it out in the woods.
her neck was not fractured I believe she may have used the chloroform to drug her but that she did not overdose her ! or he used to clean the car! all homemade chloroform is is bleach !
i have been listening to the trial and as small as it may seem it hit me as strange..fact she parked her car by a dumpster when she abandoned it but what is odd is that she backed it in to the spot. If you were having car trouble or out of gas wold you take the time or even be able to back into a space? I feel she intentionally parked by a dumpster because of the odors emitting from her trunk and intentionally backed in to take focus from it. also she was very close to a few gas stations why park there>
