Arizona shooting update: Jared Loughner, American Renaissance, no link says DHS
According to an official report from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS); no link between the alleged, sole gunman responsible for the mass Tucson, Arizona shooting, Jared Loughner and the Anti-Semitic, Anti-Government (says the Southern Poverty Law Center) has been verified. The announcement was made in an interview with an official from DHS with The Washington Post.

The information permeated the blogosphere yesterday and was picked up by mainstream media indicating there may have been a connection between the two. The group, American Renaissance immediately denounced the report. On Sunday, January 10, 2011, the head of the group, Jared Taylor said the DHS charge was wrong and there was no connection to Jared Loughner.

Jared Taylor told Fox News, “That is complete nonsense," he said. "I have absolutely no idea what DHS is talking about. We have never used the term 'ZOG.' We have never thought in those terms. If this is the level of research we are getting from DHS, then Heaven help us."
