A few weeks ago Nordstrom at San Francisco's Westfield Center held its Fall Beauty Trend Show where beauty lovers came from all over the Bay Area to get a special sneak peak at what's new in beauty. I received a special invite courtesy of the Beautylish team, big hugs to them for being so kind! At 8:00am on a Saturday morning we were welcomed and greeted with a bite to eat and coffee along with cute complimentary black purse.
Chairs were set up for the audience surrounding a beautifully built runway right in the center of the store. Makeup artists and educators, many who have worked backstage during fashion week, came in from all over the US to share with us the latest and greatest of their products. A lot brands got really creative and got the audience involved in showing us what they've been keeping up their sleeves for the new season. A huge raffle was held and Nordstrom was giving away some really great must have gifts, one of them being the buzzworthy Clarisonic! The winners walked away lucky and thankful as ever.
There were so many brands and so much to see it was like shopping at makeup mall. The DJ got everyone excited and awake for the upcoming events after the show ended. Many guests had the luxury of makeup and treatment appoints set up prior to the show.The whole floor was packed with guests getting their makeup overs done, product demonstrations, and cosmetic counters busily buzzing. Philosophy freshened faces with their oxygen peels, Smashbox turned on the bright lights with their limited edition Burlesque collection, and the Villains at MAC went around taking photo-ops with guests. After guests had gotten their makeovers there was a professional photographer to capture their new look and the pictures were conveniently printed out moments later. The whole event was definitely something to remember.
Overall the event was really exciting and well worth waking up bright and early!
