“There's a methodology that's pretty commonly accepted now for Bigfoot researchers,” according to “Bruce” from TrailriderResearch. Bruce spoke to The Secret Message Report – Podcast Edition after completing an overnight road trip to a Vancouver-area provincial park in search of Sasquatch and UFOs. TrailriderResearch first caught the attention of UFO enthusiasts with a night vision video released in 2008 showing three mysterious lights hovering in a remote forest in British Columbia. During the interview, Bruce spoke candidly regarding the reality of Bigfoot living in the wilderness along with lights and other inexplicable phenomena that accompany their presence.

Signs of Sasquatch

“The first thing you look for in the forest is tree sign,” Bruce explained, “[W]hich means running across trees maybe up to four inches in diameter, five inches in diameter that have been snapped at the four or five foot level and then just pushed over. The unique thing about the snap, the break, is that it's ... almost like an explosive break. It's not a splinter. ... All the damage to the tree is really compressed into a small area . It's not the way you would expect a tree to break.

“You try and break a branch on your own, or a small tree, and half of it will break and the rest will kind of tear. But with these ... broken trees that are done by Bigfoot, there's either a twist on it, or it looks like the tree almost exploded from within, " he explained. "To me, it's really obvious."

“Then you get into the stick formations, where you'll find sticks in crosses, or tepee formations, or branches stacked on top of each other and balanced in impossible ways that would [not] happen naturally. A lot things that the average person wouldn't question, but someone who's got a bit more awareness of the forest is going to look at that and go, 'Well, how did that happen on its own?'

“Then if you're lucky, you'll find tracks,” Bruce continued. “If you hang around and wait it out at night – that's when you find out if you're in a Bigfoot area or not.”

First Bigfoot Encounter

Bruce shared details of his first-time experience with the Secret Message Report audience:

“I was ... rock-climbing in [the] Skaha area in the Okanagan, near Pentiction, BC. We were in a canyon, in the very far back of the climbing area and there [were] sounds that led us to think that some bighorn sheep were coming down the canyon we were in. So we prepared ourselves to see that. That's not what happened, though. What happened was we started hearing rocks breaking, and not falling to the ground. So it was like there was rock-fall coming off the canyon walls but not hitting the ground. It was very strange.

“We knew there was a large animal in the canyon. And then, the next thing we knew, there [were] large rocks being broken.

“I was with another friend and my dog and we were overcome with fear. The classical response where you are in the vicinity of a Bigfoot and there is an overwhelming fear that takes over. Irrational fear.

“My dog was as scared as we were. In fact, we became so fearful of what appeared to be nothing (except these noises) that we left $1,000.00 worth of climbing equipment just laying around on the ground and we just started running back down the trail towards the parking lot, which was [probably] about 2 miles away.

“After 15 or about 20 minutes of running, we stopped to catch our breath. I didn't have a chance to utter more than two or three words when there was a grunt. Sounded like it came from an elephant. That set us off on the run again.

“We never saw it, but we heard it and it followed us for a long ways through the bush. It was a very confusing experience and it took me quite a few years to put it together that that indeed had been a Bigfoot that put the run on us.”

Triple UFO Testimony

“I've got several videos documenting these plasma orbs," Bruce remarked. “They are real, whatever it is they are. Some speculate that it's Bigfoot themselves, converted into a plasma orb. I'm not sure I believe that. I think it's an entity that's operating, possibly in conjunction with Sasquatch phenomena.”

Regarding the road trip where Bruce recorded the trio of lights in the forest, he explained, “I took two friends from high school on a camping trip over to my prime research area. I noticed off in the distance down the end of the logging road a little bit of shimmering, so I got out the night vision [scope] and I put the night vision on it. And we ended up with that video.

“I use 'UFO' as a really general term. When I use the term UFO I do not mean 'spaceship,' I mean Unidentified Flying Object. In this case there were three lights hovering above the roadway ... It almost seemed that the lights were responding to our commentary while we were filming.

“I don't know what the relationship is between seeing orbs and lights in the forest to Bigfoot, but it does happen with amazing frequency in areas that are known to be Bigfoot habitats.”

Perhaps the lights Bruce described are psychic projections of Sasquatch consciousness. During the Sasquatch/UFO road trip covered by Examiner.com, this reporter, Jon Kelly, experienced ongoing sleep disturbances in the form of almost hourly dreams where Sasquatch were approaching. While the dreams were taking place, the infrared nightshot camera recorded luminous orbs flying through the campsite in the dark of night.

Examiner.com covered that event with a story published on July 31st. Is it only by coincidence that the cover art on Vancouver's August 12th Georgia Straight weekly depicted an encounter with a UFO while camping in the forest? The timeline of events as shown by the time stamp on the Examiner.com article suggests that stories reported in the Vancouver UFO Examiner are influencing the decisions of local media editors and art directors.

Approaching a nest should be undertaken with extrame caution. More people are disappearing in the backwoods these days. There are reliable (police) accounts of fatal encounters in Washington and Oregon attributed to bears. Bear attacks are multiplying exponentially in British Columbia. This is officail-speak. As you know, the file has to go somewhere.
Surrey used to have a botanical dump that attracted "bears". Display behavior (car-chasing) was reported regularly. Rookie officers were sent to these calls and thier reports were used to gauge thier credulity. A dog walk, bordering an old quarry became abandoned at this time because the dogs were frightened. This area is near the border and "large heat signatures" became known as "Nessies" amongst patrol pilots and agencies. They were scrupulously unreported, although opperating procedure required notation.
Different agencies deal with the subject differently. Provincial Parks are practical about it. A trail that sees thousands of hikers a year in Mt,Robson was closed for weeks one summer because of "Cougar" sightings. A two hundred site campground adjacent was closed for the same reason. The rest stop/ gas station recieved a police presence during this time consisting of two cars during open hours. This is difficult for the police to accomodate during the summer, but it went on for the duration. A lot of attention for a cougar.
Befriend a policeman. Ask him about it. After he ridicules you, he might tell you where to look.

I do believe there is a UFO Bigfoot connection. There's a good book called "Hunt for the Skinwalker " by Kelleher and Knapp. It's a true story about a ranch in Utah that seems to be a portal for paranormal phenomena. A scientific organization bought this ranch to research what's going on. Some of their reports include UFO’s, poltergeist activity, strange demonic-looking animals, and Big Foot sightings. In the book, the witness describes the Big Foot sightings with an odd mechanical "beeping" sound, as if robotic. I've also heard of other reports from UFO abductees getting visits from Big Foot, almost as if they were being checked up on. I wonder if they were some sort of “grunt worker”. Whatever they are, but they prove just as elusive as UFO’s.
