Dr. Peter Creola, a retired Swiss chief delegate at the European Space Agency (ESA) and head of the Swiss office for space policies, has joined forces with those who demand the truth about UFOs. ESA is the European version of NASA. On the topic of disclosing the truth about UFOs, Dr. Creola said “…you cannot unconditionally trust NASA.”
Robert Fleischer, Coordinator of Exopolitics Germany praised Dr. Creola by stating “There are not many European high officials who dare to step forward when it comes to the reality of the UFO phenomenon… As chairman of the ‘Ariane Programme Board’, he played a key role in launching the first European carrier missile ‘Ariane’ and has been involved in numerous key projects of ESA.”
Fleischer also shared comments by Dr. Creola from a recent interview published in “Mysteries”, a German magazine:
“Question: In your opinion, would a scientific investigation of the UFO phenomenon and the propulsion systems used by UFOs bring new possibilities for terrestrial space activities?
Creola: Of course – not only for our space activities, but maybe even for the future of mankind! I always found it astonishing that sightings of silent crafts, which are obviously not bound to our gravitational laws, are being ignored by science – at least officially. (…)
Question: Do you think that the US space agency NASA is covering up evidence about UFOs?
Creola: Well, NASA is part of the government system. Whatever is the official policy also applies to NASA and has to be carried out in that fashion. If, for example, the official line is not to comment on certain topics related to UFO sightings, or if some of these sightings involve National Security, then NASA will obviously follow that doctrine. Indeed, in this case, you cannot unconditionally trust NASA.
That, of course, also applies to Roswell. If indeed something extraterrestrial crashed there in 1947 and if the US government has successfully managed to keep it undisclosed to this day, then NASA would also be bound to this policy (not to disclose).”
Dr. Creola’s comments are consistent with whistleblower testimony from the Disclosure Project and other high ranking former government leaders around the world. Let’s hope his courage and honorable intentions will inspire a similar effort at NASA in the U.S.

The new Obama Administration have many other priorities.
Remember that 90 percent of the people cares nothing about UFOs, but yes they care about jobs, houses, education, recession, war in the Middle East, etc.

FYI the article doesn't say "EU official from Switzerland". It says first that Dr Creola was the chief Swiss delegate to the European Space Agency and then later quotes somebody describing him as a European high official. I presume that you know that Switzerland is not in the EU (which is the basis of your complaint), but nevertheless don't know that Switzerland has always been (and always will be) geographically part of Europe, and hence there is no factual contradiction in the statements. I would suggest getting your your own geographical knowledge and reading comprehension sorted out before casting stones at others.
As for the description of Arianne being a "missile", I would agree that that is an inappropriate word to have used since missiles, by definition, are launched at targets. Presumably the writers unfamiliarity with the ESA space exploration program and the fact that NASA hasn't used staged rocketry for a long time in the main shuttle program meant that he didn't have the words in his mind to describe the function of the Ariane which is a main stage rocket launcher.
Correction: Better would be "main stage rocket launcher vehicle".

James: Yes, right now people are more concerned about the economy, etc. UFOs in my opinion may have a key role in bringing about peace in the world, the end to poverty, racism and the reliance on fossil fuels.
If people realize we are not alone in the Universe, they may stop seeing each other so differently as white, black, etc. and realize how stupid racism is and that we're all humans.
They may stop fighting over minor religious differences.
The technology UFOs run on is certainly not fossil fuel-based. It seems to be a non-polluting, free energy. Imagine what benefit mankind could get from that kind of technology.
People would get off the power-supply grid, i.e. they would have their own electricity-generators at home and would not have to pay any bills.
They would also not need to buy gas for their cars.
Poverty could be eradicated in this manner.
There are so many benefits we could get from the disclosure of the UFO subject. Basically, humanity's major problems could be solved. But the powers that be who have financial interests in the matter, don't want the general public to find out about these things. As a result, the public is unaware of these things and how important they are and basically disregards them and is concerned about other problems.
So in my opinion, the UFO subject is heavily tied to humanity's major problems and disclosure could bring about those changes we so badly need.

I am a UFO believer since 1967. I saw one hovering over a large park in Melbourne, Australia. I was then 14 years old. I admire these men and women in high positions who are demanding disclosure of UFO sightings and experiences from intelligent people such as pilots, scientist etc. who dare to come out and admit to the world of their belief of extraterrestrial UFO ships. I personally believe that these alien entities are observing us, the people of our Earth and also studying us as in people who have genuinely been abducted.
