Steven M. Greer MD, founder and director of The Disclosure Project will be speaking June 18, 7:00 pm in the Tivoli Student Center at Auraria Campus in Denver, Colorado. His presentation “Contact & Disclosure: Countdown to Transformation”, will address environmental upheavals, deteriorating world economies, government instability, and the mysterious year 2012. Greer will also explain why ET contact and disclosure are important to ease humanity through this transformation.
His riveting talk at the campus in July 2008 was a clear sign that government secrecy about UFOs and extraterrestrial visitors to Earth was coming to an end. At his keynote address, Dr. Greer will review past briefings with world leaders and outline current Disclosure Project initiatives to brief those in Washington DC and other world capitals on the UFO subject. His July 18 presentation is also in support of the Denver ballot initiative to create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission. Signatures for the ballot initiative petition will be invited at the event.
Dr. Greer launched the worldwide Disclosure movement to end UFO secrecy. He is currently advising members of Congress, foreign heads of state, and figures very close to the Obama Administration on how to best control currently illegal classified projects related to UFOs. These projects, which are embedded within a number of military, intelligence, and corporate operations, have been managed without the oversight of Congress or the President of the United States since at least the late 1950s.
Greer coined the term ‘Disclosure’ with the historic Disclosure Project Press Conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC on May 9, 2001. At the press conference, over 20 military, government, intelligence, and corporate witnesses presented compelling testimony regarding the existence of extra-terrestrial life forms visiting the planet. They also offered testimony on the reverse engineering of energy and propulsion systems of these craft. Over 1 billion people heard of the press conference through webcasts and subsequent media coverage on BBC, CNN, CNN worldwide, Voice of America, Pravda, Chinese media, and media outlets throughout Latin America. The Press Conference webcast had 250,000 people waiting online to connect -- the largest webcast in the history of the National Press Club.
Dr. Greer has provided briefings for the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Director of Intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and many members of Congress, among others. For the most part, these senior leaders have been systematically denied access to projects connected to the UFO subject.

These projects have been managed illegally for over 50 years and as such constitute a grave threat to our US national security. The central reason for the secrecy is directly connected to the corrupting influence of special interests in the oil, energy, and financial sectors, since the Disclosure of the sciences related to UFO energy and propulsion systems would quickly end our addiction to oil and coal. This secrecy, aside from being illegal, has denied humanity wondrous new sources of energy generation that would rapidly solve the environmental and energy crises. In this sense, the reason for the secrecy is simple: old-fashioned greed and lust for power...”
Recently, Dr. Greer has been working with senior members of a G7 country to initiate open contact with the extraterrestrial civilizations that are responsible for some of the UFO sightings around the world. This historic breakthrough will be reviewed at the lecture. A workshop on the CSETI contact protocols will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009. Advance Registration is required for the workshop but not the lecture.
Jeff Peckman, chief proponent of the Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission ballot initiative, will introduce Dr. Greer at the June 18 lecture. The public is invited to both events.

With all due respect I am sure that Dr Greer is very sincere nice person, however over last 8 years he has been totally unable to ever get ANY media attention whatsoever. Its as if he is a 'ghost' that never was there :(
I dont know why...he is knowledgeable..Perhaps its his style ? He is so super low key, that nothing resonates with any media group of any merit. Perhaps its the strict rules set down by CNN, ABC, NBC, which are in part owned by giant corps and defense companies ...that just refuse to discuss an issue which might loosen the hold of the fundamentalist white extremists preachers on their 'drones' ?? I dont know ...but sorry to say it does not appear to matter what Dr Greer says or does, NO ONE will show anything about him on any normal media outlet. I wish it was different.
Critize Greer if you like, but the guy is at least doing something to bring attention to what is so very obvious: WE ARE NOT ALONE. UFOs are seen daily around the world & 14% of us (that's 42,000,000 Americans)have seen something they couldn't quite ID. Everyone reading this has several friends who have had a UFO experience. The problem is that the UFO phenomenon in this country is laughed at and played down by the media in general. Why? Years ago, after Roswell, for some very sensible reasons at that time, a decision was made by officals in high places to keep the knowledge of the UFO phenomenon under wraps. Media was encouraged to poke a little fun at the topic, play it down, & note how often people mis-took planet Venus for a ship from another planet.
No, don't blame Greer. He's in there throwing punches & fighting the battle for all of us. He's trying to expose the Cosmic Watergate---and he's got my admiration---he's trying. I send him a pat on the back.

Is this the same Dr. Greer that claimed at one point that he had an "alien baby in his possession", but then changed the story to he had seen a video of the baby alien?
This is just one of the typical "we have _____ and we will release the information once the scientists are done with it" people.
He has promised so many different peices of "Evidence" but over the years never produced a thing."Whistleblower" testimony does not count. Just because someone has a cool title or Phd attached to their name does not make them credible to the point of being proof of anything more than a personal experience.
I dunno. I bought his Hidden Truth book, and some of it is much like the disinfo seen on fox and the media puppet masters. On the other hand, some of his accounts can be verified as 'truths'. Meditation...I also believe is also a way to access these star people speaking from personal experience (and a mighty damn scary one at that). I have had some experiences that are very similiar to his and millions of other folks worldwide (as Greers). It matters NONE however what humans hide from themselves;the time is around the corner where no lies will be told about the star people-who have CLEARLY been here a long time-once you get past the 'officials' and 'unknown sources at the pentagon'.That's when the real backlash begins. Changes WILL be made you the system, and how we treat one another.

Media coverage, doesn't seem necessary when you have the internet. And I can easily find stuff. I typed in "UFO" into my google search box and got: Results 1 - 10 of about 50,300,000 for ufo [definition]. (0.10 seconds). I typed in "Steven M. Greer MD ufo" and got: Results 1 - 10 of about 6,800 for Steven M. Greer MD ufo. (0.17 seconds). OK, so he would lose google fights, but then I suspect most of us would, but again, I found his webpage and stuff, pretty easy, pretty quick.
I'm just not getting why anyone would be concerned with a dying medium, 'normal media' when the internet is more active and reaches more people.
Remember? Sometimes the truth is hidden. Sometimes the truth is so unbileveable that it escapes thoes who's eyes are shut to it. Thoes who see truth however, shall find it. Thoes that hide truth, will be found out in the end.
And sometimes, when you find yourself saying the we don't see the truth because the truth has been hidden, and we don't accept the truth because it is unbelievable, and we don't seek the truth because we are blind: then, sometimes, there's an even simpler truth: there's really nothing there to be found or seen or believed, and conspiracy theories sell books.
Those who say there's nothing there to see, haven't looked. The truth isn't laying right out in plain sight a lot of times...you have to dig for it. I've got all the proof I need to know there are Extraterrestrials amoung us, and they've been visiting for eons. All you have to do is have a true interest in the subject, and you will find all the proof you need. It's that simple. However, I truly wish for an announcement, so that the majority of people on this planet finally know what's going on...people are dying in this world from a lack of energy that could create lights, fuel, heat etc. There's no excuse for any of it, and the more people aware, the more chance we have to accomplish the goal.
How can we assume that the E.T's have clean-free-energy technology (if they have come to earth in the first place)?
Have you ever thought that whatever energy they would use may not be that safe? What if it was a form of nuclear energy that the E.T.'s were immune to but it was lethal to us?
What if the only reason they were stopping by the earth was to re-fuel because they needed more fuel due to the inefficiency of the technology that they used and they were searching for some other types of fuel?
Another claim is that they can help with medical technology. That is a wild assumption keeping in mind that they would come from a completely different biological background. One would think that if they brought the medical technology that they use to us it would be uselss or even possibly used as a form of weapon.
But the best way for the U.F.O. types to get the public attention is to promise cheap/clean energy and better medical technologies.
I was at this presentation and have to say it was appalling. I stayed for about 45 minutes and was treated to arrogant ramblings, elaborate personal stories, and contradictory conclusions.
Greer at one moment claims the government is an inept, fumbling joke and then states that they are capable of maintaining elaborate cover-up schemes. He makes statements without backing them up with facts, then adds conjecture to form hypotheses based on no solid ground.
I find it especially outrageous that he has a medical background, as I myself am in the medical education field and know how physicians are taught to think logically and scientifically when making an analysis -- the exact opposite way in which his presentation was executed.
I am left thinking the man has mental health issues at best and is trying to scam people at worst.
I was at the same meeting and saw a room of enthusiastic and appreciative attendees. You are the only person that has made a negative comment. It would be logical to conclude that your negative tone reveals a hidden agenda to discredit Greer. We are not alone in the universe but you seem to be alone in your perception of what took place at Greer’s presentation.
You need to remember and acknowledge that he was talking about two different groups within the government. One is a small but powerful and influential rogue group that conducts illegal operations and spends tens of billions of taxpayer money with no oversight by any elected officials. This rogue group has effectively kept the evidence of extraterrestrial “UFOs” and visitors from the public and elected officials, including U.S. Presidents. The other group is the bunch of politicians who, unlike courageous whistle-blowers, are so afraid of ridicule and losing elections, that they do not have the guts to discuss these topics.

I agree with the statements that you have made. Mr. Greer seems to have some issues; he uses his Doctorate like some kind of "proof" that he is always representing the truth.
This is the same thing that the people in the U.F.O. community use titles of the "whistleblowers". They assume that a title makes them better than someone without a title.
We do have to take into account that Mr. Greer is the person who at one time claimed that he had an "Alien baby" in his possession and then later recanted stating that he
had only seen video of the "Alien baby".
He also pushes the Clean-Free-Energy nonsense that "Clean Energy?" talked about in a previous post. The zero point energy thing is just as bad misunderstood science. Just because you stick the names Dr. or Quantum Physics to something does not make it real.
Mr. Peckman seems to have been in the U.F.O. Kool-Aid and unfortunately is not capable of seeing the reality behind the majority of the claims of these types of people.
If you look at the statements that he makes they are the stock answers that the conspiracy types have always made.
You are also right about the statements about the Government. The issue here is that the people who are saying that they are terrified by the Feds because of cover-ups and threats are trying to get closer to them and even want to work with them. And unless you believe in shadow-governments, Builderberg conspiracies, and the Illuminati, it is bvious that the U.F.O. types are predominantly paranoid delusional or scamming those who are into their incomes.
If alien life exists and can somehow monitor what we do here on our little blue/green world they must be laughing at the stupidity that we offer.

I went to the presentation because I wanted someone to logically explain evidence to me using sound scientific reasoning. What I got was 180 degrees different.
