Why would people have a twilight release party what are they going to do there that will make people want to wait for hours for a horrible movie based on a horrible book? This is completly stupid.
Well, at least a few of the places got to meet one of the characters. I guess that would be worth it to the die hards. I don't think it would be. I'm pretty sure a lot of the fans bought more than one copy.
Funny how the industry is totally taking advantage of the fans. I bet most of these fans will look back and be embarrassed by all of this and how they acted about it. JMHO.
Whether or not your a fan of the movie the sales are guite impressive and isnt it the fans choice to make the decision to wait in a line or buy more than one copy. Thats why they are the FAN and have every right to do so.
Wow! "Top Five Best First Day Releases in Two Years." That's really broadening the category. Top 5 first day releases IN TWO YEARS.
Trust me this TWILIGHTmania will be over soon. In fact don't expect it to sell more than 6 million copies (which is still alot but funny considering all of the other top 5 went on to sell nearly 13 million).
New Moon wont do nearly as well. Twilight shot itself in the foot the moment breaking dawn was made. now it is dieing a slow death.
I had a great time at a twilight release party with my daughter and her friends. The movie will not win any awards but the fans enjoyed it.
Haven't purchased the movie yet but intend to. It seems to be all the rave.
shut up warner some people actually liked breaking dawn.
