'Twilight' - Summit Ent.
The Twilight car crash scene was certainly one of the more vivid and pertinent scenes of all the book, and the film (with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as "Edward Cullen" and "Bella Swan") did not neglect to incorporate that moment into the on-screen story between those characters.
It was pivotal to the forward motion of the characters' relationship, and it was also an exhibition of Edward Cullen's strength and capability as (then unknown to Bella) a vampire.
Already, that particular scene was chosen as number four on AOL Moviefone's "Top 25 Movie Moments of the Decade," and, now, Fandango has selected it as fifth on their "Top 10 Romantic Movie Gestures" list.
Says Fandango, "Ask any girl under the age of 20 (and many older) to name their most romantic movie gesture, and it could very likely be Edward (Robert Pattinson) throwing himself in front of a speeding van to save his one and only Bella (Kristen Stewart). Vampire lore -- and box office receipts -- would never be the same."
So, do you agree? If you had to choose a scene from the Twilight series - books or films - that you think is the most romantic? Would this be it? If not, which one would you choose? Comment below and let us know!

I watch and re watch the restaurant scene in Port Angeles... Rob singing in the background... Edward's just saved Bella again, then revealing his mind reading secrets... and finally admitting - I don't have the strength to stay away from you anymore.
Gets me every time
I agree with Abbie! I wish some guy would say that to me, I would probably melt at his feet...well maybe not the mind reading part lol
Yes Abbie! That was it for me.
yes of course...it was so romantic...
of course... el momento mas romántico sin duda de toda la peli... el más erótico cuando entra Edward por primera vez en su habitación e intentan "besarse". uauuuuuu podrían saltar las alarmassssss jajajaja
the meadow scene was better, in the books anyway :\
YEP IT'S ONE OF MINE TOO...because in the book edward was thinking "not her...." so sweet...
It's one of my favorites but not the best... The best one is in (SPOILER!!) Eclipse chapter 20 when Edward proposes to Bella and she says YES!!!! :D :D :D :D
it was the scene where he comes into her room and things start to get hot but he retreats and instead they confide and talk to eachother the whole night until she falls asleep on his chest!!
i agree with Abbie that part is so good.. :))
really ts the best one...................
From the films it's equally this scene and the reunite scene in New Moon when Bella pushes Edward back from the sun.
In the books is his proposal when she says yes, saving her from the car, the meadow and the night in the tent when they are talking about their 10 best nights
I'd have to agree with Janine about the night they talked about their 10 best nights <3
Also I think it's extremely romantic the way he devotes everything he is to her. Any gesture of that is a mentionable romantic moment.
I also really liked when Victoria said "We never got enough of each other... and would have had forever to try" I just think that was really sweet and you can tell she really loved James.
i would have to say that the second installment new moon. the Italy scene were bells saves Edward and Edward fights for Bella is a much better pick.
I would definitely say the 'infamous crash scene', their first kiss in Bella's Bedroom, and the last scene where they are dancing at the Prom!!! Swoon!
Ok folks, I think we are talking only TWILIGHT and only the MOVIE here. It's not about the books or the other movies.
So, from both POV's, this scene would be high on my list.
Being the damsel in distress and rescued by her hero, Edward. He holds her close and they meet each other's eyes...
In the movie... I think him sneaking into Bella's room for the kiss is more romantic, but the car crash is second. In the book it's the Meadow. HANDS. DOWN.
I think the it's a wonderful scene, in the book and in the movie so yea! it makes my top five!! But the kiss scene in the bedroom it my favorite of all time!!!
My fav is in Italy when Edward gets tourtured by jane to save her n in the book it has to be the medow
"I don't have the strength to stay away from you anymore"
(sniff, sniff)
ditto Abbie, i know what u mean..
...second is Bella's rescue from the car crash and third, Edward and Bella's reunion at Volterra...
(^_^)
I think the part towards the end of the movie Twilight, where Bella gets bit and Edward has to suck the venom out so she won't turn. Something about how he can restrain himself because of his love for her. It's just so romantic and sexual and so unselfesh. It gets me everytime I watch it, sometimes I have to watch that scene more than once!
i love you edward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The meadow scene was SUPER romantic in the book. The movie really didn't do it justice, which is a shame, since Stephenie's dream was the meadow scene, and is really the most important moment, where Edward decided he loved Bella more than he wanted to kill her. It was this great push and pull between them wanting to touch eachother and him not wanting to kill her. I thought it was such an intimate scene without being sexual, its what caught me on as a huge fan.
But my favorite is, I totally agree with Anna, Eclipse Chapter 20. I read it like 3 times before going on in the book the first time I read it, it was so good.
i think the most romantic scene is in Eclipse when they are alone in his room before the big fight and he asks her to marry him.
I Love this couple !!
and that moment was romantic
I would have to say the part in the movie where he plays Bellas lullaby on the piano for her...even hotter knowing that Rob really was playing it...also the part in the Meadow where he says, "you don't know how long I've waited for you" and he puts his hand over her heart! Ugh! My heart melts
Has to be the night they spend on the bed in Edward's room in eclipse - when Bella rolls over and realises she has not fallen off the couch! That whole scene makes you want to read it over and over again! Also the scene in Twilight the book when they are going to the Baseball field and Edward kisses Bella as they stand by the car - unbelievably gentle and tender. In the movie its the scene in the trees when Edward says "better hold on tight spider monkey" and the Restaurant scene gets me everytime!
Not really that romantic... Edward knew he wouldn't get killed or even hurt, so it would be more romantic if a human did that for Bella.
my favorite scene is from breaking down when edward finally can read bellas mind(only for a minute) and she is remembering all best nights for her:the first time(for her:)) edward was in her bedroom, when he saved her from james, the way he hold her in the meadow, his face waiting her to marry him, every moment from esme island, the first time he touched their baby, his face when she opened eyes firs time in new life, after that first kiss, first night in their house....... its all best scenes in one...
In Twilight (film wise) my favorite part was the prom and in New Moon it was the Volterra reunion. I loved everything in Eclipse!!
My favorite scene in the Twilight Movie is the prom scene!! Love it!!!
New Moon - Reunited in Volterra and since I'm secretly team TAYLOR (especially now that he's LEGAL)...that "almost kiss" between Bella & Jacob before the phone call was hawt! LOL!
Eclipse - I CAN'T WAIT!!! They better do Chapter 20 and do it with JUSTICE or I'm going to be pretty upset! lol
Every time Edward goes to kiss Bella and it's like he has to steele himself, you know, choose between wanting to kiss her and wanting to kill her. It's all so romantic!
WHEN BELLA SAVES EDWARD FROM EXPOSING HIMSELF IN VOLTERRA. AND HE HOLDS HER AND SAYS, HEAVEN!
THAT TOPS IT ALL FOR ME.
I would pick the scene when Edward plays the piano for Bella - i find that song so touching!!
Thats not really romantic but for me in twilight, was Edward and Bella's 1st kiss of course and in New Moon, when jacob comes into her room in the middle of the night or, the "movie' scene or, the Italy scene. In Eclipse definately when Bella and Edward are in Edward's room alone or, when Edward, Jacob, and Bella are in the tent. In Breaking Dawn Edward and Bella's honeymoon.
i didnt put all of the romantic scenes because i didnt have enough space but i'm team both and im definately obssessed!!!!! #1 fan!
I love all the twilight books so basically Im a definite twihard fan! lol!
My favorite scenes are:
Twilight- Their first conversation, The Meadow scene and when he stayed with her that night.
New Moon- Where Bella finds Edward before he exposes himself.
Eclipse- The night before the fight and when shes engaged to him. I aslo like the tent scene aswell.
Breaking Dawn- The wedding and Honeymoon. When she is a vamp and when Edward reads her mind and has Renesmee forever.
btw Im
TEAM EDWARD all the way!!!!
cos hes soo sweet, handsome and loving!!
so back off people - hes mine! lolz
Twilight Movie - the part in the Meadow where he says, "you don't know how long I've waited for you" and he puts his hand over her heart
Twilight Book - The kiss just before they go up to the ball game when he's trying to convince her she wont hit a tree :)
With
the romance just kills me. why didn't they pick me to be bella so i could be edwards one and only. always will be the no.1 fan.
i love when they go to prom and in new moon when he asks her to marry him and she thinks its a joke. and i am reading eclipse right now so i will update later
yea,...hell right,...
yeahhhh omg ? love you edward adn bella....
acho que o filme por inteiro é bastante envolvente...
nos entrelaça
nos faz viver um romance lindo e arrepiante
enfim desejado
mas realmente esta cena é maravilhosamente linda!
The part where he says "Bring on the shackles; I'm your prisoner," then when he's rips James apart to save her, then in New Moon when he says "Amazing. Carlisle was right," because she's there, and ESPECIALLY the night they spend together in his room in Eclipse. TEAM EDWARD!!!!
I just love it when he's cuddled up to Bella and says "you;ll always be my Bella, My Bella just less fragile!" it is just too beautiful for words!
