We're always fascinated with just how many people actually opt to watch some of their favorite shows after the fact, and this new round of DVR ratings proves one thing -- people go out frequently on Friday nights, and some of the shows we thought were struggling are actually doing a little better than we thought.
With that, we come to the top five percentage-gainers in 18-49 viewing for the week of November 7 (which were just released on Tuesday).
- "Fringe" - Will a show ever double its viewership in 18-49 viewing? "Fringe" came closer than all others this week, gaining 72% after its initial airing to finish with a 1.9 rating.
- "Grimm" - Even though the show slipped down a 1.6 rating, NBC may have a hit here with a 2.6 after the fact (which is definitely impressive for a Friday).
- "House" - With a 57% gain to a 4.4 rating, Hugh Laurie's show is not struggling as much as it seems.
- "Law & Order: SVU" - The crime drama surged up to a 2.9 rating after gaining 52% of its audience.
- "Up All Night" - This comedy is a frequent visitor to this list, and once again gained 50% with DVR numbers to a 2.7 rating.
