The legendary entertainer Donny Osmond came from behind defeated the odds-on favorite Mya to take home the Mirror Ball trophy on “Dancing With the Stars.”
From day one, Mya was the favorite to win it all on season nine. The Las Vegas odds makers even placed her head and shoulders above the other competitors before they even danced their first dance. However, fans voted with their hearts, and went for Donny Osmond, the true entertainer who was more than double the age of the other two finalists.
Kelly Osbourne also defied odds and overcame her wild child image to turn into a swan during this season of “Dancing With the Stars.” Although her dances rarely measured up to the caliber of Mya’s, the judges recognized Kelly’s effort and continuous transformation. She finished in a very respectable third place.

- 1st place: Donny Osmond
- 2nd place: Mya
- 3rd place: Kelly Osbourne
Congratulations to all three finalists, plus all the other dancers for a job well done. It was an entertaining season, indeed.
