If you get rejected, sue. Sue for 1/3 Billion dollars. That's what American Idol is facing courtesy of Ian Bernardo. He's the guy that rush the stage during the 2010 finale. He claims the producers gave him a tacit approval and then discriminated against him because he is gay.
The New York Daily News says he is suing for $300 million charging the American Idol set was rife with discriminatory intimidation, ridicule, insults and hostile and offensive comments."
Benardo, who is gay, was the guy that went ballistic on Simon Cowell.
The producers invited him back for the 2010 finale, then were brutal with anti-gay comments and asked personal questions about his sexual preferences.
"I became a paid employee when they asked me back. Only after that did I start hearing, 'Why don't you act more faggy?'"
Benardo told the Daily News on Tuesday.
"They encouraged me to be totally outlandish, they wanted me to dress in drag and kept using anti-gay slurs to tell me how to behave."
"They said that it was live TV and anything was OK as long as I didn't curse," he said. "It was a big wink-wink, so I did what I thought I was supposed to do."

He can sue them for 300 billion for that matter cuz he isn't going to get even two cents anyway, Ha!
Why do people do things and then in the end the decide it was wrong? Where is the moral integrity" Who cares if he is gay. Just stand up for what is right before you do something that you know is wrong.
Hmmmm Not sure how his lifestyle figured into ANYthing. All they said was he was bad and they were bored. I didn't hear ANYthing about anything else. Ya got no talent. Get over it and get a job.
Hmmm... not sure I heard ANYthing about lifestyle. Only heard that he was bad and they were bored. Sorry, that does not qualify as discrimination in my book.
