The Minnesota Twins, along with FOX Sports North, introduced the "50 Greatest Twins" in honor of the team’s 50th season. Many of the current and past players were in attendance at Target Field before the Twins played the Texas Rangers.
The 50 Greatest Twins were voted on by a panel of print, radio, and television journalists, plus senior members of the Minnesota Twins staff.

Oh my god, who voted for Frank Quilici, Gene Larkin and Dave Winfield as members of the Twins greatest 50 players?? What about Ron Perranoski, Dave LaRoche, Doug Corbett, Ron Davis, Scott Erickson, Eddie guardado, LaTroy Hawkins, JC Romero???? And there are many, many others. I see this list as very poor and a slap in the face to many solid players.
Gene Larkin was a bench player. What about Jimmie Hall???
