Ignite Racing Fuel helps break Porsche standing mile world record

A new world record has been set by Eddie Bello and his Porsche 911 turbo after they ran the standing mile at 236.61 blistering miles per hour. Using Ignite Racing Fuels instead of VP Import, Eddie Bello was able to run less boost and still create more power while simultaneously destroying the previous record. Earlier this year Eddie dyno tested the new fuel and showed instant gains of 71 horsepower and 114 foot pounds of torque while reducing spool time by 400 RPM.  This fuel has also been tested on a 400 cubic inch small block Chevrolet crate motor with 12:1 compression. Owner of Willy’s Carburetor and Dyno Shop, Willy Krup said after the small block test, “The only change was the fuel and Ignite Racing Fuel showed an instant torque pickup of 18 foot pounds of torque over one of the top brands of 110 octane race gas.” Ignite Racing Fuel is clearly leading the way in the world of high performance fuel technology.

“I broke the world’s fastest Porsche record at the Top Gun Run Miami event finishing at 236.6 MPH. I ran 23 pounds of boost with 114 Ignite Red and with VP Import I would normally run 30 pounds of boost. I ended up running faster and got a lot more power with Ignite in comparison to VP Import. I probably ran at least 1100 horsepower. I just got some new injectors to take to the track in Texas next weekend where I plan to run at 30 boost with the Ignite 114, this should definitely get me up to 1300 horsepower." Eddie Bello. The world of racing fuel is quickly changing thanks to Ignite. Available in 108, 111, and 114 octane Ignite Racing Fuel is quickly satisfying racers and making headlines. According to the Eddie Bello quote above, he's upgrading to possibly larger injectors to accommodate for the increased usage of ethanol when compared to petroleum fuels. Ethanol keeps the engine cooler which is perfect for forced induction application, which tends to run hotter than naturally aspirated due to the friction created while compressing air. Ignite is allowing Eddie Bello to run less boost and create more power, which resulted in the capture of a standing mile world record. When Eddie completes the fuel injector upgrade in order to run more pounds of boost, the world record will likely be broken again.
