The call by some right wing leaders for rebellion and for the military to refuse the commander in chief’s orders is joined by Chuck Norris who claims that thousands of right wing cell groups have organized and are ready for a second American Revolution. During an appearance on the Glen Beck radio show he promised that if things get any worse from his point of view he may “run for president of Texas.” The martial artist/actor/activist claims that Texas was never formally a part of the United States in the first place and that if rebellion is to come through secession Texas would lead the way.
Today in his syndicated column on WorldNetDaily Norris reiterates the point: “That need may be a reality sooner than we think. If not me, someone someday may again be running for president of the Lone Star state, if the state of the union continues to turn into the enemy of the state.”
He continues; calling on a second American Revolution; “…we've bastardized the First Amendment, reinterpreted America's religious history and secularized our society until we ooze skepticism and circumvent religion on every level of public and private life.
How much more will Americans take? When will enough be enough? And, when that time comes, will our leaders finally listen or will history need to record a second American Revolution? We the people have the authority according to America's Declaration of Independence, which states: That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government…”
Norris claims that; “Thousands of cell groups will be united around the country in solidarity over the concerns for our nation.” The right wing cells will meet during a live telecast, "We Surround Them," on Friday March 13 at 5 p.m.
He closes with the words of Sam Houston followed by a plug for his next martial arts event.
“We view ourselves on the eve of battle."

It's a shame he wasn't so vocal when George Bush signed the "Military Commissions Act of 2006" under that law Mr. Norris and his followers are considered "enemy combatant's"

Having lived in Texas for a number of years, I can tell you that this is not just empty rhetoric! In general, "Texians" are slow to anger, but when they finally get "riled up" they are formidable adversaries! While I may not always agree with Mr. Norris's views, he has always been sincere, open, and steadfast in his opinions. He has a long history of saying what he means and meaning what he says. Oh, and I'll bet he would have no problem in showing us HIS Birth Certificate!

I've been teaching Government and Economics for over 25 years, and I have never seen my country where it is today. For weeks, I've been sharing with my students my conviction that the majority of Americans do NOT want this country to go the way of European socialism, nor to fall prey to the siren call of ever increasing power in the hands of a central government. I know my ancestor Stephen Hopkins, who signed the Declaration of Independence for Rhode Island would be outraged, as much as my ancestors on the other side of my family who arrived at these shores on the good ship Mayflower. I am a lifelong student, an educator, a reader and a writer, a father, and a grandfather. I am also an American who has internalized the principles of political and economic freedom established in this land by our Founders. I taught them around the supper table at home, and to several thousand high school students down through the years. I am not willing to see our country abandon them now in our fear and uncertainty about what may yet come. As Benjamin Franklin so rightly observed, "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
I believe we are in a pre-revolutionary condition right now, which will only deepen and broaden if we continue to drift deeper into socialism.
It is not treason for an American to stand for freedom. It is the essence of patriotism. It is what our Founders expected of us, when they wrote that we should "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity."

The problem with the so called “democratically elected”, is they have violated their oaths to protect and serve. Once the oath is taken, and policies, actions, supposed laws, or orders given by those taking the oath, that restrict, infringe, or in any manner which systematically, or otherwise denies the founding intent of the inalienable rights granted by the Bill of Rights of the Constitution, these very same “democratically elected” have become what they has sworn to protect against, DOMESTIC ENEMIES.
The writings historically preserved of our founders all would define the action taken of our federal government as such and categorize these democratically elected as DOMESTIC ENEMIES of the U.S. and it Constitution. No where in the founding intent of the Constitution does it grant the oath taker power to decide if and when the amendments of the Bill of Rights are grantable.
A warning to any Law enforcement, and military personnel, you have by your oaths sworn to uphold and protect the Constitution from all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC. We the People may soon be forced to fight to protect our Constitution and keep the founding intent given by the Bill of Rights. You have a choice to make the Bill of Rights grants us the People the right to bare arms and to form militias to preserve these rights. You by your oaths are sworn to protect this right. Obey any order by any government agency to remove or infringe on this right will be an act of true treason. But, in reality it is nothing more than a modern version of medieval Europe with most of the people serfs or the equivalent of sharecroppers.

Benjamin Franklin upon exiting the Constitutional Conventional was asked what kind of government was formed. His reply was "A republic if you can keep it."
You see the Founding Fathers realized that pure democracies allowed the people to vote themselves into servitude and hence countered the idea of unalienable rights of life, liberty, and property.
Woodrow Wilson and his socialist cohorts mainstreamed this notion we were a pure democracy.
As a ex-Navy Vet of 10 years I took my oath of office to defend the constitution seriously. Its tenents and those of the declaration are the supreme law, not the "State". James Madison said "It is proper to take alarm at the first experiment of our liberties".
I could go on and on, as I am a dedicated student of liberty and the Constitution. Unfortunately, too many have become tools to the Socialists that are taking over this country. Read Socialist texts and history sometimes and this becomes evident.
You see governments were instituted by God to preserve core rights and give us the ability to reap what we sow and to be charitable of our own free will.
