Buzz Aldrin during Apollo 11 mission
In my prior story, I noted how MythBusters debunked the claim that the entire Apollo 11 mission was a gigantic hoax.
But some still claim that not only Apollo 11, but all six Apollo moon landings between 1969 and 1972 are nothing but cosmic con jobs. One of their point men, Bart Sibrel, is a wannabe film maker, with a reputation for stalking astronauts.
As a publicity stunt for himself, Sibrel set Aldrin up for an ambush attack of defamatory comments captured by Sibrel's cameraman. He called Aldrin "a coward and a liar and a thief." I guess he thought the elder Aldrin would just give him some good, angry verbiage that Sibrel could edit later.
Instead, Aldrin threw a punch that rocked Sibrel. Sibrel later tried to file charges against Aldrin, but basically got laughed at. Here's the short version of what happened.
A longer version, which contains even more defamatory remarks from Sibrel, was captured from a different angle.
But as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, a video has cropped up claiming that Sibrel cheats in his Apollo imagery. Side by side, frame by frame comparisons of audio and video from Apollo missions show that there is an Apollo hoax, and it's not NASA's.
A little later tonight, we'll hit the exact moment when Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon. Aldrin followed a little bit later. I'd have to say when Buzz Aldrin hit this guy it was a "sucker punch"... not because it was unexpected, but because this Bart Sibrel is a lyin' sucker!
Buzz is the man. Hey, the Apollo missions happened. They were even suppose to cancel the apollo 18-20 missions, but NASA continued to do the missions. Apollo 20 happened, if it happened then all the Apollo's are real.

Hey Bart,Why not take it a step further and just say that the entire space program is a fake.The triumphs and tragedies.All of it.Just say it's one big hoax.
wait - there are 2 things here - one is that bart is rude / nuts and eccentric - the other is that he really might have something important - It was the Cold War - a serious time - and the CIA was involved in - many - things - and there are many strange things about the footage / broadcasts from the moon...plenty of oppurtunity for doctoring of footage....
What a sad day when some attention mongering a** hole wants to use the hollywood hoax agenda platform to diminish one of the greatest accomplishments in our space program history. Thank you Neil and Buzz for your service to our country and for being the brave souls that you are and going where no man had gone before.
Our astronauts both those who trained and those who flew on missions are America's very best.
I guess it is good I was not standing near this event; I would now likely be in jail.
Americans should not stand for this type act against one of our finest retired veterans.
