Animal rescue groups represented at annual Labor day parade

An assortment of adoptable canines made their appearance at Kettering Holiday at Home parade this morning.

Cooler morning temperatures and bright sunshine made for excellent walking conditions, and the spectators, the walkers and the dogs all enjoyed themselves at the Labor Day celebration.

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton was represented, as was Luv 4 K9's (with a terrific float).

If you missed today's parade, you can catch some of the HSGD adoptable dogs at the PetSmart adopt-a-thon Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at the Petsmart in Miamisburg (on Miamisburg- Centerville Road), from 12- 5 pm.
