- Cut the tag or label off the end of the bag.
- With the open ends of the bag to the sides, cut the bag vertically into 3/4 inch to 1 inch strips. Carefully stretch out these slices (they tangle VERY easily) and you will see that they are loops. Slip knot the loops together end-to-end to form a long, continuous string. Keep it from getting tangled by taping the end to a cardboard toilet paper tube and wrapping the "yarn" around it as you add loops.
- Working across the surface, slip stitch around the post of each double crochet. Always feed the yarn from the top as shown, and never stitch into the outside edge of the scrubber at the end of each row. It is easiest to work with loose tension or with a slightly larger gauge hook.
- The back side of the finished scrubber pad is a little abrasive and scrubby.
- The front side of the dish pad is super scrubby, perfect for a sink full of stubborn dishes.
