Tea Party movement oozes into the Valley

On April 15th, the Tea Party movement- a conservative grass-roots movement protesting the perceived over-taxing, over-spending policies of the Obama Administration- will take a national stage.

Well over three hundred protests are planned for the upcoming date, with organizers anticipating hundreds of thousands of participants nationwide. Championed by the conservative news media, the Tea Party movement serves as a public forum for slighted conservatives and Republicans to share their titanic anger over issues like the bank bailouts and emergency mortgage relief programs.

The Tea Party movement’s slogan is ‘Revolution is Brewing’- which sounds suspiciously treasonous to me. It’s important to point out that such brazen anti-government sentiment would have quite probably been rewarded with a lengthy stay in Gitmo under the policies of the previous administration.

The big question is, will conservatives in the San Fernando Valley jump on this unsavory bandwagon? Are Southern Californians wise enough to avoid engaging in such a frankly partisan spectacle?

Sadly, no.

According to the official Tea Party website, you’ll have the choice of a few venues to exercise your democratic right to support dangerous right-wing ideas. In the interests of providing my conservatively minded readers the means to shoot their respective mouths off, all the dirty little details are below.

If any chemically imbalanced homicidal liberals out there are feeling particularly imbalanced on April 15th, the above information can also be used to locate surging crowds of slack-jawed morons to plough through in your Prius.

Just kidding.

But not really.

Good luck out there, patriots.

Plough through in your Prius? I can't imagine anyone sane could say that. I consider expressing disgust over the rapid rise of taxes and government overspending a valid reason to protest. You have a right to your opinions and in the same manner you should be tolerant with diverse others.

Yes, when libs have the truth pointed out to them, they often resort to name calling. Sad, but true. Fortunately, your self-righteous anger did nothing to quell the crowds today.

"The official slogan"? "The official website"? Get a clue before you write an article.

That's the pot calling the kettle black. You liberals ARE the most treasonoous citizens. Stop stealing our hard earned money. You don't like what America stands for? Move to your beloved Europe, Communist Cuba, Russia and ANY of the Arab countries. I'm sure they'd love to let you talk on and on, right before you get beheaded or at best, imprioned for life.
