Ashley Burk Balcazar spent her formative years engrossed in the most poignant films of the 1980's - Flashdance, Dirty Dancing and Footloose. Desperately wanting to dance, yet towing the end of a long line of cheerleaders, unfulfilled aspirations eventually motivated Ashley to follow her dreams. A self-confessed salsaholic, she's been an avid supporter of the salsa community in DFW since 2002. She enjoys teaching, performing and introducing salsa addiction to others.
