HRH Prince Harry has passed his ground school exam, part of his Apache helicopter training. The young royal is “thrilled” after learning that he passed what he expected to be a huge challenge. The test is around math skills which the Prince admits isn’t his strong suit. A spokesperson for Clarence House said: "Flying comes more naturally to Harry than the mathematical and scientific papers which have marked the start of his course. By passing this exam it means that he can now get into simulators and it takes him a big step nearer to climbing into an Apache." The prince earlier passed his basic helicopter training with such success that British Army commanders selected him to train as an Apache pilot. Upon hearing this Prince Harry called it a “huge honor’ to learn to fly an “awesome helicopter.” This class, he predicted, would be “one of the biggest challenges” of his life. That challenge behind him, the Prince continues his training and is on to the next one.
