Parades, beads, King Cake, and music are all apart of the excitement that comes along with Mardi Gras. The center of the Mardi Gras universe is New Orleans, Louisiana but in the tri-state the best Mardi Gras gathering is at MainStrasse Village and this year the Black-n-Bluegrass Rollergirls will be there partying with their fans and getting the word out about their upcoming season.
The 96 Rock Mainstrasse Village Mardi Gras parade sponsored by 96 Rock takes place February 17th and 18th in Mainstrasse Village located in Covington, KY. The Black-n-Bluegrass Rollergirls have created their own float and will be passing out beads, candy and 2012 season schedules.
Presale tickets for the event are on sale now. Tickets are $10 a night or $15 for both nights. Your ticket gets you admission to the entertainment tent with live music provided by The Websters as well as admission to one of MainStrasse Village’s bars. Tickets can be purchased at the MSVA office 859-491-0458 Cock & Bull, Pachinko, or online
The Black-n-Bluegrass Rollergirls will be playing their 2012 home games at the Bank of Kentucky Center on the campus of Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY. BBRG also has a new practice space all to prepare themselves for their best season yet.
