Recovering drug addicts Michael, Kyle, and Sonia find themselves trapped in a time loop, forced to relive the day they try to make amends over and over again. Will they learn to apologize and make amends even better, or will the day be a vacation from reality and an opportunity to indulge their addictions?

Repeaters starts off a bit slow with some character background and story setup. From there the film repeats not only the day of the 3 addicts, but the theme, pace, and tone of the film over and over. There are some brief sparks of excitement throughout the film but nothing that keeps it truly entertaining. In the end the film feels like just another day.
Acting was actually decent despite something of a lack of energy in the film. Milligan did fairly well and seemed to have decent energy with Klerk. Crew and Klerk both did very nicely, with good emotion and power to their performances. Fast was decent as well, as was the rest of the supporting cast.
Camera work, sets, and backgrounds were all well done with solid attention to detail and a fitting feel. Physical effects were understated and nicely done. Dialogue was good and delivered well, and sound was good. The soundtrack was very nicely done with fitting selections and good variety.
Overall Repeaters is an interesting sci-fi fantasy with a decidedly down-to-earth focus. The film is decent but the energy doesn't quite feel like it ever builds to full potential. Those who enjoy a dark drama will enjoy this one quite a bit.
With drug use, sexuality, graphic violence, gore, and foul language save this one for adults and above.
Repeaters is no longer showing in any Littleton Colorado movie theatres.
