Movie review: Bermuda Triangle Exposed

For decades the Bermuda Triangle has been blamed for the mysterious disappearance of multiple boats and planes. This Discovery Channel production takes a look at many of the missing blamed on the Bermuda Triangle and some possible explanations.

Bermuda Triangle Exposed takes some of the more famous disappearances attributed to the area and mixes in a few that aren't so famous. They then add some details that are lesser known which flush out the stories a bit and give them more life. From there we get to take a look at some different theories that could explain some of the disappearances and even do some exploring that may solve a few.

This documentary strangely felt old from the beginning. This is one of those productions that while entertaining, is somewhat frustrating as it leaves many unanswered questions and even adds a few new ones. In the end, Bermuda Triangle Exposed feels like an introductory look at the Bermuda Triangle. While it may encourage some to look further for more detail, others may find it fairly bland and dry. Particularly if they have had any previous exposure to the Bermuda Triangle.

Production work was decent with plenty of old film footage mixed with interviews and more current shots.

Those looking for basic information about the Bermuda Triangle will enjoy this one the most while those wanting something more may be disappointed.

Nothing here to limit audience age.
