I give this book five stars because it combines my love for wholesome fiction for young people, my fascination with Hawaii and my unabashed admiration for young sleuths. In Menehunes Missing, Martin has a bona fide winner.
Martins books are entertaining and fun but they'd also make a fantastic supplement in a unit study on Hawaii. Your kids are going to love these books. And so will you.
