The gaming industry consistently provides gamers with the most entertaining, unique and memorable games on a monthly basis, but if you're someone who doesn't know the best solution for capturing their best moments, we've got you covered.

Have you got yourself an elgato?
elgato.com

The best solution has got to be the simple, effective and affordable elgato game capture HD device. It really has got to be one of the easiest devices to capture footage on your Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 and upload it to the online video source of your choosing.

We were able to capture a full Wanted multiplayer match from Assassin's Creed III, and that couldn't have been more painless.

The first thing we did when we got the device was follow the simple four step process to setup the device with our Xbox 360. We simply hooked up the HDMI cables from the TV to the elgato device and then hooked up the HDMI cord from the Xbox 360 to the other end of the elgato.

Then we did the simple task of hooking up the USB cord into our MAC and then connected the other end with the capturing device. All connections were complete and we could then download the Game Capture HD application online on their site.

The application and device are compatible with both PCs and MACs and the app requires a simple install. After we had the application up and running, we plugged in our iPhone headphones and the app immediately recognized them.

We checked to make sure the audio was coming through on the computer and once it was, we were ready to do some capturing.

We chose to go with Assassin's Creed III's addicting online multiplayer mode called Wanted. We simply began capturing at the beginning of the match, which you can view to the left.

We were able to provide commentary with ease. While there was a slight delay between the action live on the TV and the feed on the computer, it did not interfere with our capturing. The same could be said for the audio, there was a slight delay, but again, not a big deal at all.

From there, elgato's application provided simple editing tools for us to cut and mold our capture to the final cut we wanted. We could access previously captured videos in a window, and could also make edits or deletes to those as well.

Finding our videos to upload to our YouTube channel was very simple to do. We went to our page, clicked on the the "Upload" icon at the top of the page. Then chose the video from our "Movies" file and it began to upload.

We provided the necessary details to the video and were able to cue it up with the upmost ease.

Overall, the elgato game capture HD device is without a doubt the simplest, most effective game capturing hardware around today. You can go to Game Capture to buy your own elgato game capture HD device today.
