Once thought to offer only upscale cuisine, Vivace now has the reputation of producing an array of amazing food at affordable prices. The new Neapolitan Style Pizza menu is a delicious example: you may begin with a Cheese pizza for $11.95 and add veggies for .75 each or meats for $1.50 each. Not in a mood to make decisions? Then go with a specialty pie, like the Chicken Pesto or the Margherita: roma tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzarella on hand stretched, artisan thin pizza crust, crafted with flour that has been imported from the East Coast. The result is a flavor that is not available anywhere else in Omaha!
Vivace's main menu starts with tapas, small starter plates, starting at small prices: only $4.95 for Fire Roasted Feta Dip or Goat Bread: goat cheese baked with marinara, served with cherry peppers and ciabatta. Then sample a cup of Hearty Hunter's Soup for $3.95, or a Field Salad: fresh greens tossed with white balsamic pear dressing, topped with strawberries and candied walnuts. This salad is one of the most refreshingly delicious flavor combinations your mouth will every experience, for only $4.95!
Perhaps you are in a sandwich mood? A mere $6.95 gets you the Chicken Tramezzini, or $11.95 for Shrimp Piadini: shrimp sautéed with artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, asparagus and basil served inside grilled Italian flatbread with romaine lettuce and lemon citronette. Pastas are homemade at Vivace, and you get to design your own plate. Choose a noodle and a sauce, then add your favorite meat or vegetable for a few dollars more. Get Hot & Naked for just $6.95, Basil for $7.95, or shell out $9.50 for Clam sauce; add soup or salad for just $2.50. Kids meals are also available for around $5.00 each.
A pricier, fine dining experience is presented through Vivace's Dinner Specials menu: $29.95 brings Salmon stuffed with Serrano ham, crab and asparagus, baked on a cedar plank and served over wild rice pilaf with roasted roma tomato sauce. For $38.95 you may select Beef Tenderloin: bacon wrapped medallions grilled and served over a succotash of roasted red potatoes, mushrooms, butternut squash and Brussels sprouts with peppercorn demi glace. Exquisite, and well worth the expense!
