A definition of redirect: To direct (someone or something) to a different place or by a different route
So let there by light...exposing the redirection "trick / illusion"
It's all about redirection and illusion. Even the late-great Harry Houdini, the Hungarian master illusionist of the early 20th century would be in awe of the "magic show" that's being currently performed by the legion of minions who listen intently for the "silent" dog whistle that's being blown by their lord and master, "The Invisible Hand".
Envision a stage that's full of actors scurrying around the set, studiously memorizing their lines before the curtain lifts, while simultaneously using smart phones to check for anticipated deposits in their banking account; rewards from a pleased and generous benefactor (master).
It's the mission of these well paid stage / street performers to instill in the mind and heart of the world's struggling 99%, a false feeling of security and love towards a political ideology that is meant to elevate the 1% ultra rich to that of "Gods" in a global feudalistic society.

This grand illusion that's being performed today by soulless thespians is designed to pacify (redirect) malevolent feelings that are boiling (like acid) deep within the gut of the world's 99% who faithfully struggle each day to make "ends meet".
It's being implied and highly suggested by these imps of industry (the well paid stage / street performers) that it's the unemployed's fault that they've lost their job, their self-respect and now the respect of their family and friends.

By use of smoke and mirrors, victims of corporate out-sourcing and corporate restructuring are being led to believe that unions that once created the world's middle class are somehow now evil entities of Socialism and Communism and must be abolished before they lay curse upon the land and its inhabitants.
Additionally, the ill-informed are being led to believe that federal laws that mandate affordable health care while simultaneously guaranteeing affordable coverage to those with physical ailments like lupus, diabetics or even cancer, will somehow unleash the "hounds of hell" upon a God loving society that (in the mind of the 1%) would rather suffer the "honor" (disgrace) of choosing liquidation of all worldly possessions and declaring bankruptcy over Obamacare in order to pay for the medical expenses of a loved one that's stricken with a life-threatening disease.
Behind the velvet curtain
In the shadows of the theatre standing stealthily behind the velvet curtain are the nearly invisible 1% who skillfully pull the strings of their faithful minions. It's the minions of these "too big to fail" corporations that obediently (like a prized hunting dog) and without remorse, out-source hundreds of thousands of well paying jobs each financial quarter to foreign countries and gleefully in the name of modernization and profit, replace human beings with soulless 21st century computerized contraptions, never once considering that the skilled human workforce they now eliminate in the name of profit must now immediately and miraculously find a "new way" of feeding and clothing their family; and all before the "end of the month" bills arrive via the mailbox and the internet.
The Revolution is being televised
Thanks to the efforts of "truth busters-worldwide" ( the 99% grass root organization ) The Invisible Hand and their agents are becoming more and more visible.
In the U.S. alone, the 1% ultra rich are well represented by increasingly familiar names like the Rockefellers, the Rupert Murdochs and the Koch Brothers. Along with their "siblings" around the world, they (the 1%) love and worship an insatiable demon named "Greed" and like all false gods created by evil people, "Greed" demands a heavy price to be paid by its worshipers.
Interestingly, 24/7 media broadcasts that's owned and controlled by the Invisible Hand, has unwittingly projected the raw energy and the passionate struggles of the Occupy Wall Street movement that has without a doubt ignited / galvanized support from tens of millions of people around the world who are sick and tired of living week to week on "bread and water" while the ultra rich that would be "dukes and duchesses" dine on caviar and champagne.
Yes, the revolution is being televised worldwide and no, there isn't enough "magic dust" left in "Merlin's bag of tricks" to convince the majority of the world's struggling 99% that being poor with little hope is in reality, a badge of honor to be worn like a high school letter worn by adolescent jocks.
In closing, even the great Houdini knew that during his magic act there would be a few in the audience who after close scrutiny would ultimately discover that magic is no more than tricks amplified by smoke and mirrors designed by a master illusionist that's meant to deceive a crowd that still believes in leprechauns and pots of gold.
Thank goodness the Wall Street Occupiers have seen through the illusion. Have you? In the words of the hip hop group Outkast, "get up, get out and do something", if you're tired of living check to check because all your money is being paid to banks owned by The Invisible Hand, then support the Wall Street Occupiers. Indeed, the revolution is being televised.
