One of the arguments Obama supporters often advanced against Hillary Rodham Clinton’s candidacy was her alleged divisiveness.
Clintonistas must have heard countless times that Hillary was too polarizing to win, had too much divisive baggage to govern effectively.
Obama’s Big Media backers touted endorsements by the so-called Obamacans – those high-profile Republicans like the Eisenhowers and the Buckley Jrs. who drank the Kool-Aid.
Clintonistas warned the kumbaya talk was a charade, that Rethuglicans would give Obama no quarter and take no prisoners, and that all Obamabots needed to do was wait awhile: give the GOP a few months and Obama would be just as polarizing as the Clintons.
The Clintonistas were wrong: Obama is now more polarizing that the Clintons could ever hope to be.
A new Gallup poll is up showing a 65 percentage point gap between Republican and Democrat approval of Obama. 88% of Obamacrats approve Obama’s message. Only 23% of Republicans are on board.
Gallup points out that the divide “is easily the largest for any president in his first year in office, greatly exceeding the prior high of 52 points for Bill Clinton.”
Who’s divisive now? Who’s the polarizer now?

Soooooooo.... the day arrives. The one we knew would come. Whose "likeable enough" now, Mr. President?
I still say the guy rigged the elections somehow. I never found any large number of Obama supporters at any time during his campaign or after he was president. I travel through 8 to 10 states monthly and it's always been that way. So the question is, who the hell voted for the guy to be president?? California and the new england states I'm sure. Wish they would secede already and live happily in liberal land for the 5 years they were able to before going bankrupt paying for their own "saving the world" BS agendas. It's a shoe-in that Republicans will take take the senate back this fall. I hope they end up doing the same in the house. And then impeach Obama's @$$ for lack of confidence. That is a legal action ya know! Especially when america has been telling him to put the brakes on health care for the last 6 months straight.
This guy is a phony and a lie to the Nth degree squared, like no one we've ever seen in this country before. Yet, in my opinion, the problem is NOT him. The problem is with the voters who elected him and who keep electing the other treasonous traitorous tyrants, such as Ed Rendell, Michael Bloomberg, Richard Daley, Dianne Feinstein, and on and on---all elitist socialists who hate this country, the Constitution, freedom, and the republic itself. As long as Americans support and elect criminals like this, then they deserve what they get. Remember: "Beware what you wish for."
I love this president. I voted in 2008 for the candidate who would best represent what I wanted done in this country. And now, two years into his presidency, he has 85% of his agenda done, and I support all of it.
