Philadelphia Eagles former cheerleader Donna McCall is doing cart wheels these days and it isn't for the Eagles. Donna McCall has done something that most fans only dream of, she is marrying the man she has had a star crush on for 46-years.
Donna McCall will marry former actor Butch Patrick, if you don't remember who Butch Patrick is then think back to a little show called The Munsters he played Eddie Munster. Though not so little any more Butch Patrick is now 57-years old and is ecstatic that he has met the woman of his dream, it is just the way it happened makes it all the more magical for the couple.
Donna McCall, who is a huge Munsters fan first began writing Butch Patrick in 1964, she was just one of the many fan letters ,that the actor who played Eddie Munster received weekly. The only difference is that when the Munster's show ended Donna McCall's crush didn't . She claims that she continued to keep writing to actor Butch Patrick all of her life. Sure she went on to grow up and work ,but she could not shake Butch from her heart.
Well, all of Donna McCall's hard work and determination finally paid off for her when she emailed Butch Patrick at his website, only to come home one day to find a reply from Butch, one that included his cell phone number.
Donna McCall claims "I was really, really nervous when I called him. I felt like I was 10-years old again. He put me quite at ease. He even handed the phone to his mom and I got to talk to her for a little bit."
Long story short the two kept in contact back and forth and finally got the chance to meet each other face to face at DRACULACON. according to the Tonic News Network. They already had a connection as friends and it wasn't to long before they were in love and Butch Patrick proposed asking Donna McCall to be more than his life long fan ,but become his lifelong partner
Talking to one Cincinnati mom and her teenage daughter on this subject there was a couple of different opinions on it with the mother stating that to her this just seems really weird that a fan would carry their star crush that far into adulthood. Her daughter on the other hand, claims that she loves Justin Bieber and hopes that maybe one day she will be lucky enough to have the same thing happen to her..
A happy ending for one fan gives inspiration to others,so let this be a lesson to all of you who have star crushes, whoever they may be ,Justin Bieber, one of the Twilight Saga stars or anyone else sometimes loyalty pays off it just could be many, many years down the road.

Amen to that! Good for them. Rock on Eddie Munster.
Gracias por las horas de sana diversión que le dieron a mi niñéz.
La versión en Español era buenísima!!! Felicidades y bendiciones.
Thank you for the many hours of fun you gave me in my childhood. The Spanish version was great!!! Best wishes and blessings.
Butch has a new show called Life's a Butch, you gotta check it out on youtube.
It's pretty funny
hell Yeah! Get some Monster style lovin' Donna :)
Seriously, people? Doesn't that seem just a little bit freakish? She's how old and has been chasing this guy since she was a kid? I'd say looney tune if you asked me!
I'm so glad someone else thought that too! Creepy, to say the least.
It's unusual, but it just shows it was meant to be. He must think she is okay if he fell in love after meeting her. You know, I always had a crush on John Travolta my whole life since seeing Grease when I was 5 - I don't write to him - so don't think it's too weird to still have a crush on someone famous like that.
I think this is a cool story. I'm happy for the both of them. Some folks never find someone special, or love. Dudes, I'm 52 and still pining for Angela Cartwright of the original Lost in Space.
Butch, Congrats, What happened to Pam. I'm happy for you and glad to see your well. GOD BLESS
This is a great story! It is not freakish at all, it is sweet as heck. Thanks for a happy love story its a nice change to Hollywood drama. :D I want to hear all about the wedding, so don't forget me. I am subscribed to your page.

I used to watch this show, and I love a happy ending.
Love comes in many different forms. They love eachother and it doesn't matter how they met. I think that it's a cool way to meet!

way to go Butch.hope you and Donna live happily ever after.i always wanted to be eddie's brother.you had the COOLEST grandpa and the coolest cars too.i wish nick or tvland would bring the Munsters back.
Hey that is so neat! Just goes to show dreams do come true!
And...if a first marriage can set anyone right I hope she does (O; I've known this guy 22 years, and I don't mean we hung out a few time. Sadly, a cocaine and booze addict with angry moods that shift with the wind accompanied with the sharpest tongue I have ever heard yet lovable anyway. Never quits riding the "Munster" coat tails 'cause it's all he has. I hope he accepts more. Still love you Butch and make it right!!
Very neat. Congratulations. Just saw your interview on Fox 29. I loved the days watching the Munsters. They were the days when your biggest stress was wondering what friend you were going to walk up the street to see. Life has become a little more complicated, but the days of the Munsters and no stress still appeal. Best of luck.
Butch Patrick engagement is a hoax & publicity stunt. FACT: Desperate Donna McCall was the 2nd girl Butch proposed to in July.
Interesting. Can you back up this claim?
The A.P. did an interview with Butch and his girlfriend and they set the record straight. There was only 1 fan letter Donna wrote Butch in the 60's with one reply. Fast forwrd to this year, something about a gum wrapper chain story reminded her of Butch so she sent an e-mail to him. He replied, they met and the rest is history. They made it clear there was no engagement or marriage, just taking one day at a time.
apparently her crush on Butch lasted only one year, either 1964 or 1965, that would be entirely creepy if it lasted all her life....
Happy Halloween!! I was just watching The Munsters Marathon on tv and decided to look up Butch, for I too had a big crush on the wee lad back in the day. Great story!! Now the only very BIG PROBLEM is that I am 46 and now I HAVE BIEBER FEVER!!! Maybe Justin can marry me when i am a GHOST!!!! hA!!!
There was never an engagement or marriage. Story was planted to increase marketability of Butch by his over-zealous production team.
His girlfriend only found out recently that the story about their marriage was planted by Butch's reps.
As were most other tabloid stories.....
PopCultExaminer: Butch Patrick engagement is a hoax & publicity stunt. FACT: Desperate for PR Donna McCall was the 2nd girl Butch proposed to, as the first girl was on July 1st. Why? He had no place to live, no money. He owns no "homes in FL or CA" as reorted by media. Devoid of conscience that his first proposal was declined he, with the gullible Donna, happily moved into the former Mr. McCall's home to continue the con game that has been Butch's lifelong lifestyle & M.O.
Just Beautiful ^^!!♥
I hope ... someday i can to do the same ♥
