BP takes dead animals before they can be photographed, birds being beheaded: Video

Keith Olbermann oil spill update on BP damage control: Dead animals are being taken before they can be seen or photographed, birds are deliberately being beheaded.

BP CEO Tony Hayward has also gone to great lengths to bolster the company’s faltering public image. In addition to a new advertising campaign on TV and the internet, BP has hired private security guards to keep negative images of the oil spill from reaching cameras.

Veteran marine biologist, Riki Ott said, “Turtle watch volunteers have seen little baby dolphins wash up dead - flashlights and people descend out of nowhere and the carcass is gone in 15 minutes.” She added, “ There are reports from offshore of massive kills on the barrier islands from fisherman who have been working on the spill response... BP is using metal detectors to keep people from even taking cell phones out to photograph this.”

In addition to the disappearing carcasses, Ott said, “I’ve been able to get some pictures of BP raking up bird carcasses and separating the heads from the bodies. "

In  the BP effort to control the paper trail of damaging evidence, Ott said, “We have reports of emails.. anything to do with carcasses are disappearing from people’s servers.”

If BP is truly interested in portraying a better public image, fewer reports on how they are trying to hide the truth might take them farther than misrepresenting or trying to hide it.

The federal government, at Obongo's direction, are the ones restricting media access. FEMA and the National Guard have completely shut down huge areas and restricted access, even to locals. Look a little closer and quit blaming BP for everything. The Feds are complicit. Obongo is trying to salvage his image and his presidency.

Keith, please don't let this story get by everyone. Keep on it please. Have Riki Ott on your show every night. Do you believe NOAA is going to determine the cause of death of birds with their heads cut off. I live on the coast of NC. Are we next?

Where in the hell is the local sheriffs to put a stop to this. They have ultimate authority over BP and the Feds.

Is it possible for individuals living in the state(s) that this has taken place in, can citizens become ill from the toxins being carried by wind, natural means? If so, what can they , should they do? In particular, individuals who are more sensitive.

BP is at fault, they are BIG OIL!!! Oil money runs everything in this world. Until oil runs out, this is going to continue happen. Its not Obama, dont you understand? Big Oil runs the world, and there is nothing anyone can do about it, or stop it! It makes me sick, so you just keep driving your gas powered automobiles and live your life, while companies like BP take your money and drill some more.

I live two blocks from a bayou on the Gulf Coast. My friends are fisherman, boat captains, and shrimpers and they have all seen first hand thousands of porpoise, sea turtle, whale, and marlin bodies floating in the gulf. Shrimp boats are being used to scoop them up, load them on to awaiting barges, and then they are taken into Mexico where they are then burned. No one will publicly speak out. I am so saddened and frustrated at the same time. What's truly upsetting is to see the Coast Guard and National Guard controlled by BP reps. It should be the opposite!

I am tired of people defending obama just because he is a black man....he is the President of the UNITED STATES....that means everyone here....so he needs to start ACTING like it and all you defenders of obama ask yourself this, "If he were white would I still defend his inaction in the Gulf?"
How dare him allow a foreign company police American citizens!

A few friends in Houma, Louisiana have told me some really disturbing tales of BP’s workers coming in the middle of the night to dispose of the dead carcasses on their beaches, and dumping new beach sand overtop the polluted sand to cover it up, rather than scraping it up to clean it, to reduce the visible impact. These people are evil!
