Why did the Obama administration refuse to pursue the case against the New Black Panther Party (NBPP)? Former DOJ lawyer J. Christian Adams, turned whistleblower, claims race related corruption is the motive behind the DOJ dropping the voter intimidation case against the NBPP.
Today, Adams testified before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights in regards to the explosive allegations.
J. Christian Adams quit his job at the DOJ in protest over the alleged corruption. Adams is an election lawyer and served in the Voting Rights Section at the U.S. Department of Justice; in that capacity he was assigned to the NBPP voter intimidation case.
Background of the Voter Intimidation Case against the New Black Panthers
J. Christian Adams wrote on Pajamas Media (PJM): “On Election Day 2008, armed men wearing the uniforms and jackboots of the New Black Panther Party were posted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the entrance to a polling site. They brandished a weapon and intimidated voters. After the election, the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice brought a voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party and these armed thugs. I, and other Justice lawyers, obtained an entry of default after the defendants ignored the case against them.”
The Bush Justice Department originally brought the case against the three members of the NBPP, accusing them in a civil complaint of violating the Voter Rights Act.
After the election, the Obama administration won a default judgment against the NBPP, but inexplicably dropped the case against them. They did, however, get one of the members, Shamir Shabazz, to promise not to carry a "deadly weapon" near a polling place until 2012.
Shabazz was carrying a billy-club while he and other members of the NBPP intimidated voters at the PA polling place.
Why did the Obama Administration Drop the Case against the New Black Panther Party?
Adams tells Megyn Kelly of Fox News that a DOJ mandate is, “No voter intimidation case is going to be prosecuted if the victim is white and the defendant is black.” And the decision to drop the case against the NBPP is corrupt.
J. Christian Adams is not alone, a PJM article released today states former DOJ employees are scheduled to come forward to corroborate Adams’ statements about the DOJ.
Additionally, Bartle Bull a high profile eyewitness and victim to the voter intimidation perpetrated by the NBPP testified before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.
Bartle Bull is a New York Democrat, civil rights attorney and former campaign manager for Robert F. Kennedy. He has also worked with Jimmy Carter, received an award by the late Senator Edward Kennedy for his work as a civil rights attorney, which included working in the south defending the rights of black voters in the early 1960s.
Mr. Bull tells Fox News that he was a poll watcher for the presidential election in 2008 when he was told by armed New Black Panther member Shamir Shabazz, “Now you will see what it means to be ruled by a black man, cracker.”
The US Commission on Civil Rights continues the investigation into why the DOJ dropped the voter intimidation cased against the New Black Panther Party and if racial corruption was and is the motive behind the Justice department’s decision.

Unbelievable that a black person can say "kill all crackers" and "kill all white babies" with a bull horn and "saying I hate all white people." and NO national news organization picks it up. I don't condone discrimination I want all to know.But for this to happen and nothing to be done well it just goes to show what kinda country we live in.I just want equal rights for all even whites.So if if this goes unchecked it will continue to happen and believe me if i show up in 2012 and stop blacks from voting well I should get away with it right.That would be equal and fair.I think not!

This story is a scam, it wasn't Obama adm that drop this case it was the Bush Adm drop the case...Jan 7,2009 was when this case was drop...Humm 2 weeks before Obama even took office...Stop trying to scare people...
