They're the only nations in recent memory that have gained independence from an overwhelming Muslim majority.
Most of us are all too familiar with the long history of Muslim terrorism against Israeli Jews.
With the exception of the Aussies and Kiwis, the West is almost totally ignorant of the Indonesian/Muslim slaughter of an estimated 200,000 East Timorian/Catholic population of roughly 600,000-700,000.
Whatever nation you reside... imagine almost every third person having their brains blown out.
And if it hadn't have been for the Australian Armed Forces, it would have been worse. Much worse.
Then there's the two million (mostly Christian) Southern Sudanese massacred by troops of the Arab/Muslim Khartoum government.
And massacre is a polite word. Slaughter is more accurate.
Everything from the basic bullet to the head, to beheadings, to the more exotic spike hammered into the head.
Oh, and the occasional crucifixion thrown in for good measure.
That's right, crucifixions are still happening here in the 21st century.
Resistance Is Futile...
As Bishop Giuseppe Germano Bernardini was quoted in The Middle East Quarterly (December 1999), here's just a few of his all to prophetic warnings that have been totally ignored.
During an official meeting on Islamic-Christian dialogue, an authoritative Muslim person, speaking to the Christians participating, at one point said very calmly and assuredly: "Thanks to your democratic laws we will invade you; thanks to our religious laws we will dominate you."During another Islamic-Christian meeting, always organized by Christians, a Christian participant publicly asked the Muslims present why they did not organize at least once a meeting of this kind. The Muslim authority present answered the following words: "Why should we? You have nothing to teach us and we have nothing to learn."In a Catholic monastery in Jerusalem there was and perhaps still is a Muslim Arab servant. An honest and gentle person, he was respected greatly by the religious who in turn were respected by him. One day, he sadly told them: "Our chiefs have met and have decided that all the ‘infidels' must be killed, but do not fear because I will kill you without making you suffer."
We were warned, but unfortunately, it's all the rage for Western Civilization to worship at the altar of Political Correctness and Multi-Culturalism.
If we lose this current chapter in the 1,400 year long war of Islam attempting (yet again) to destroy Christendom, we'll get exactly what we deserve.
