Susan Hartzler helms Alpha Dog Public Relations, whose clients span the pet industry and have appeared on national shows such as 60 Minutes, The Today Show and The Bonnie Hunt Show as well as magazines such as Dog Fancy. She won the 2010 Dog Writers Association of America’s “Angel on a Leash” award for her chronicle of therapy dog experiences in Animal Wellness magazine. Susan is an expert in all things canine, especially when it comes to products and services. She and her two pooches, Baldwin and Bliss, have appeared on national TV shows reviewing the latest products. Baldwin and Bliss are Therapy Dogs in Los Angeles and visit children in the Oncology Ward at County USC, Children of the Night and work with the Los Angeles Fire Department. In 2007, they entertained 100,000 people a day at the World Dog Show in Mexico City. Susan, Baldwin and Bliss live happily with their feline sister, Cyd Cat, the Contessa de Calico.
