We've got excellent news for Sims diehards and anyone who generally loves to play God: A little website called "www.thesims4.com" has been registered by none other than Electronic Arts.
According to our friends over at Gamers Guide To Life (and confirmed by snooping the domain's "WhoIs" information), EA purchased the future website on June 28th, 2010.
Clearly there's no stopping the Sims juggernaut, but our only request is to simplify the 4th installment. We know it was technically and graphically superior, that the easier methods to record your Sims' activities was awesome, and that the it was critically praised. IT just felt too complicated, in our humble opinion.
Now that the upcoming website has been outed, expect an official statement from EA very soon, quite possibly next week at PAX.

"Creation Date: 09-apr-2003"
TheSims3.com - TheSims10.com have all been created at the same time. I wouldn't put my hopes up for any TS4 announcement any time soon.
My guess is that EA will announce *something* regarding TS4 next month, even if it's just "We're gonna make TS4!"
