will this work on the ps3?
No, unfortunately. It's a USB device designed for the PC only. Even if the headphones worked, there wouldn't be a way to install Logitech's software for the G35 on a PS3.
They lacked volume, these were not very loud. Fit was nice, sound was great, bass was good too. Just wish they went louder.
Maybe it's an age thing. :) Mine were more than loud enough for my tastes, and more than loud enough to completely drown out the wife and kids -- which I got in trouble for a couple of times... :)
im very tempted, but before i fork out, given my lack of knowledge, do i need my soundcard to support 7.1 (and if so how do i find out if it can) or do the drivers for it handle this
The headphones work independently of your sound card -- they are a stand-alone USB device. As long as you've got a USB port on your PC you should be good to go.
waiting for reviews on the Razer Megaladon before commiting
Bryan Edge-Salois - Razer has confirmed that they are sending me a Megalodon 7.1 headset to review -- should have the headphones next week, and hopefully a review next week or the week after. We'll see how they stack up against the G35...
i heard they work on the x box but im not sure about the ps3 im trying to find out
These dont work for the xbox nor do they for the ps3. ONLY pc. Period. You cant install the software on the consoles. also audio cant go through the usb ports on the xbox.
