New video was recently released of the 15 year-old, Wayne Treacy, that nearly killed 15 year-old Josie Ratley, of the police interrogation. It shows a very emotional Treacy with some brief moments with his mother, who asks him "Wayne, why would you ruin your life like that, why would you hit a girl?"
Wayne Treacy, although shows some remorse and genuine concern for what he has done, seems to be in shock over the incident. "I only wanted to yell at her. And when I saw her, everything just...and the next thing I know...I started hyperventilating and I started crying."
"I'm a monster, I'm a monster," the 15-year-old muttered to himself. The utterance was just one of several intense moments in the video of Treacy's two-hour interrogation by Broward Sheriff's detectives, released Friday morning.
Wayne Treacy has been charged with first-degree attempted murder as an adult. He's been in a juvenile detention center and Broward County jail since the attack.
This past week Josie Lou Ratley was released from rehab and is now home recovering after months in the hospital, three surgeries on her brain and extensive rehab. Watching that video, I cried... the whole situation is horrible. Obviously Treacy should have had more counseling or been taken out of school for a longer amount of time after he discovered is own brother dead by suidice. Of course the poor kid snapped. It is very unfortunate what happened to Ratley, but it could have been prevented of Wayne had had the help he needed to recover from that trauma!
LIAR this kid does not seem Sorry hes acting only thing hes scared of and worried about is his own life in jail he deserves everything coming to him yeah poor kid his brother killed himself but thats no reason to almost kill a girl kids a spoiled brat
