REHOBOTH BEACH, Del., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Watch video on the
go. Surf the wireless Internet at lightening speed. Share live video during a
wireless call. AT&T (NYSE: T) announced today these services and more are
available on its newly deployed third-generation (3G) mobile broadband network
along the shoreline in Sussex County. AT&T operates the nation's fastest 3G
network, according to recent data compiled by leading independent wireless
research firms.
With the addition of 3G technology to six cell sites, AT&T's ultra fast
wireless network is now available in Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, Bethany
Beach, Long Neck Village, and Fenwick Island. The 3G network has also been
enhanced along Routes 1 and 22, as well as in areas of Delaware Seashore State

"Sussex County is a premier tourist destination for visitors and residents
who rely on fast wireless connections to live video, web browsing, and e-mail.
The expansion of our 3G network means consumers traveling along Delaware's
shoreline now have more places to access the information they need to stay
connected to family, friends and business associates," said Dan Lafond.
"Anytime you make it easier for businesspeople to communicate, you give
them a competitive edge," said Delaware State Chamber of Commerce President &
CEO James A. Wolfe. "AT&T's 3G mobile broadband deployment in Sussex County
will strengthen the competitiveness of Delaware businesses and give our
residents and visitors another way to stay connected to each other and the
world."
