Over the past 15 years, iDEN phones have evolved from large, rugged designs geared for heavy-duty industrial uses to a variety of devices applicable to many user groups offering competitive features. This includes integrated cameras, speakerphones, Java technology, and more -- while still offering the two-way radio iDEN users have come to depend on, and with the durability to withstand heavy use. Sleeker, more innovative designs and expanded features have increased appeal within many industries, from outside sales forces to executive board rooms to consumers.
