First time visitors to Dallas-area nudist resorts likely have lots of questions about what to expect. Since area resorts are private clubs there is not a great of deal of information available to the general public about them.
After perusing the resort web sites and deciding on a club to visit, it is always best to call the club in advance so that the staff will be expecting the visit. All clubs are gated and so visitors cannot simply drive right in.
Staff interview and check-in
On arrival, visitors are greeted and interviewed by a staff member who may or may not be clothed. The interview serves two primary purposes. Club staffs understand that people will naturally feel a little nervous during a first visit and they typically do an excellent job of helping people feel at ease. Also, the staff uses the interview to ensure that people visiting have come for the right reasons. Resorts want visitors who are sincerely seeking to explore and experience the non-sexual nudist culture not someone with prurient interests.
During check-in, a photo copy of the visitor's driver's license or other approved form of identification will be made and visitors typically will be subjected to a criminal background check. This is necessary to keep the resorts a safe environment for all, free from predators. Brief paperwork is completed by the visitor, they are briefed on the club rules and fees are collected. All resorts accept credit cards and some accept personal checks for payment of fees.
Facility tour
After check-in, a staff member will provide a tour of the facility to acquaint visitors with the amenities available and points of interest. The Bluebonnet Nudist Park web page offers a good example of what to expect during an introductory tour. Visitors are allowed to remain clothed until some point in the tour so that they can have a chance to feel comfortable and at ease.
Policies on nudity while visiting vary among the Dallas-area resorts. Using Bluebonnet Nudist Park as an example, clothing is optional for women and children but for men, the policy is clothes free. The swimming pool, sauna and hot tub are nude only for all. Sometime during the introductory tour, visitors should expect an invitation to undress and male visitors will be expected to do so.
During the visit
Visitors will likely encounter other people while visiting. Some people will be clothed and some nude, but nudity should be expected at all times. Local resorts welcome visitors for day visits and those who wish to overnight. A variety of activities are available including swimming, sunbathing, hot tubs, nature trails and outdoor game facilities for activities like volleyball and tennis. Resort clubhouses also feature game rooms, television and music.
Expect to meet other friendly, hospitable nudists at the Dallas-area resorts and to have a fun and relaxing time.
