Dick Conklin is a freelance writer specializing in entertainment and dining out. His writing career included stops in Miami, Delray Beach, and most recently, 13 years in the Florida Keys, where he wrote for Cyberconch.com, Time Out Magazine, the Keynoter, Weekly Newspaper Group, and Keys Sunday. In 2003 he received the Best Florida Magazine Columnist award. He is a member of the Daytona Blues Society and the Society for Professional Journalists. He now resides in Ponce Inlet, Florida, just south of Daytona Beach. His writing previously included five books on computer topics while working for IBM.
