Solar Eclipse in Gemini (June 1st 2011)

There is something phenomenal happening today!  Can you feel it in the air?  Can you feel the shift in the wind?  If you do, then you been Eclipsed!

Now, don’t freak out and think something is awfully wrong with you.  Eclipse can be a positive thing.  It is all in how you take it in and let the Eclipse influence your life.

For 2011, there are five eclipses that will occur.  The first three are literally back-to-back and that can be quite overwhelming.  We start off first with a Solar Eclipse in Gemini on June 1st, follow by a Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius on June 15th, and then another Solar Eclipse on Cancer on July 1st.  Thankfully, we have a few months to breathe before the fourth eclipse enters our life on November 25th, and last but not least, the final eclipse for the year will be on December 10th.

When an eclipse occurs, it signifies a fresh beginning or a good-bye ending that no longer suits your life. Since an eclipse can last for months, a deep cleansing of the soul is necessary.  Allow yourself to let the ‘old’ seep out of you, and let the ‘new’ enter.  Making room for the ‘new’ will make benefit greatly.  Change can be scary because of the ‘unknown’ factor, but it is also good.  By changing, we are growing personally and communally.

Today’s Solar Eclipse/New Moon falls 11 degrees in Gemini.  Gemini is all about communication, education, learning, and sharing.  During this cycle, take in as much energy of sign as you can.  This is a time to really listen in on what others have to say, improve your communication skills, be a little (or more) curious about the world.  Don’t be shy to express your ideas and thoughts with friends, family, or even strangers.  Gemini teaches us to explore the world around us; to take information in; and ultimately share with others what we have discovered.  So, infuse your soul with this wonderful Solar Eclipse’s energy and be openly communicative with yourself and others.  By doing so, we can all learn a great deal about one another.

*While it is good to know how this eclipse may affect you on the surface, it is also wise to see where the eclipse falls in your natal birth chart.  Knowing this will help you see what area of your life the eclipse will most impact you personally.*

Don't miss...
