There is more news from the world of Twilight. The next film in the saga, Breaking Dawn Part I, is set for release to Scottsdale theaters this November. Hollywood Life reported on Wednesday that one of the stars of the film, Michael Sheen, says that the film should have been rated R. Currently, it is set for a PG-13 release. The actor made this claim at an event for his current film release, Midnight in Paris, on Tuesday.
Michael Sheen isn't the first star of Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part I to question the film's PG-13 rating. Robert Pattinson, the actor behind Edward Cullen, also thought the rating was too low for the film. For Michael Sheen, he feels that the film is in "intense" and parents might find themselves covering their children's eyes if they do venture out to theaters to see this one as a family.
Why the intensity? Sheen says because of what happens to Bella during the film. Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part I is where fans of Edward and Bella, played by Kristen Stewart, will lose her virginity to Edward, and there is a lot more that will go on during the film.
